WWE WAS my childhood! Dwayne Johnson was my go to wrestler!!! My HERO! My siblings and I used to watch Friday night Raw (I believe is what it was called) got the walls of Jericho done to me enough times my body evolved to make me a chubby contortionist. I ain't even mad. I lost touch for a while in foster care, did Stephanie McMahaun ever sort her swizz out with triple H?

Also...you kurt.... YOU SUCK. YOU SUCK. lol..all love. <3

With that path being much smoother today than it was in the 20th century, more wrestlers are dipping their toes in the film industry. Speaking to The Town, WWE President Nick Khan noted the company sees Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as the next guy to make that eventual leap.

“We think he’s certainly up there,” Khan said. “We have big plans to help him cross over, which we think will be great for him and certainly great to do with him.”

As mentioned, the blueprint for the Hollywood transition has been created by The Rock. The Brahma Bull has seen unprecedented success in the world of movies in the past decade but did experience several bumps in the road early on.

“I think he was given advice early on to, ‘Hey, get rid of the muscles. Don’t be a handsome leading man. Distance yourself from WWE.’ You saw the result was like the Tooth Fairy movie,” Khan said. “He, to his credit, like Vince and like other people, has the unique ability to see things clearly. Instead of saying, ‘Hey, this Tooth Fairy thing was great! I made X number of millions of dollars on it!’ It was more, ‘This is not what I want this to be.’ It wasn’t authentic.”

People there are wonderful, I used to work for a limo service that drove those folks and everyone was very nice, Hard working people. But don't go near the place unless you were invited, you won't get near it, security is like Fort Knox
And Stamford's finest is usually around so do yourself a favor and stay AWAY. No autographs please!! I'm not kidding.

This is quite a different time for pro wrestling. The fans really don't decide who we see the most. PG wrestling seems more like something that should be on the cartoon network. As a lifelong fan, I hope it can make a comeback, but I think we'll need some competition before that will happen. The attitude era was what brought WWE to the top, and it's interesting how they have gone completely away from that type of programming. Little kids seem to enjoy it for a few years, though. I know my nephews did for a couple years anyway.
