This is a beautiful ranch. Green pastures abound. So clean and healthy. The animals are beautiful and well taken care of. The price is unmatched for beef that's grass fed and finished. It is so good for you. It taste delicious and is not greasy. I buy some Clausen pickles, Mayan onions, organic lettuce, and Mayonnaise on a Hawaiian bun and add my cheese and burger. It's better than any at a restaurant. The owner is always responsible, and the meat is packaged in approximately one pound packages, that are packaged excellent ,and labeled with all the information. If you love clean , responsibly sourced meat , you will never be disappointed ordering from Windy N Ranch.

First off, I can't go without mentioning that this ranch has absolutely stunning 360° views from the hilltop, so we highly recommend taking the time to visit and pick up your order in person for at least that. The fields are kept clean and the animals look happy amd healthy. We were allowed to roam a bit and show our son the animals. Lots of free roaming chickens and some baby goats and sheep to see! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to receive our order and know that it is fresh and natural. You can see it in the color alone. We will definitely be return customers, all the way from the West side.

I have been getting my special-occasion meat from John for years. He has a stand at the Ballard Farmers Market on Sundays. The meat is really high quality and with empathy and care for the animals' quality of life. I otherwise am very hesitant to consume meat for reasons related to the ethics of the industry itself, but I have none of these concerns with John's meats. We get hens for special occasions, corned beef, and recently had the best roast of my life this past Christmas. John has gone out of his way to give me instructions on marinating and roasting the hens. 5/5

Had the pleasure of visiting the farm and Greg was so thoughtful in answering our questions and showing us how they operate. The animals are clearly happy and well cared for, and the whole setting was just beautiful. I have slowly been upping my game on quality of beef but Windy N steaks are leaps and bounds above what I have been able to have at home. Both ribeyes and lean cuts are firm and flavorful and you can feel the quality from first touch. Thank you so much for energizing us on the quest for local sourcing!

A beautiful ranch that treats their animals right. I’ve bought meat directly from their website and at their stand at my local farmers market for years. Finally drove out to visit the ranch for a day trip with the kids. The setting is gorgeous with rolling pastures and the animals happily doing their thing. We were welcomed by the owner Greg to go and check out whatever we want. All the cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens (and one peacock!) were healthy and well cared for. The meat produced is clean and delicious. This is the kind of small producer that I’m glad to support.

I cant say good enough things about Windy N Ranch! I purchased the chicken bundle & breakfast sausage, which is amazing by the way, when I arrived Greg showed right up and we walked into the butchering kitchen, which was very CLEAN! We then gave us so much good information about the farm and how they do things around there, Then showed my son the baby goats! SO CUTE! Besides the great and personable experience I will be back getting purchasing more and recommending them to everyone.
