I've been coming here off and on for about 5 years. I would give their produce department a 5 plus and it always smells so good when I walk in the door! I always know I can come here and get super fresh local and @ more reasonable prices than I would expect. I also appreciate their bulk food section which seems to be very well maintained. Unfortunately, their hot bar is often not well maintained. I think they should either give it up or give it the regular attention it needs so it remains fresh and fluffy - not crusty, dead and icky looking.
Update: 12/24/24 - got some very moist turkey, mashed potatoes and green beans from the hot bar. I feel sorry for any vegetarian however, because the black beans were absolutely parched dry. Is it really that difficult to maintain what you put out? I think tending to issues like keeping your hot food fresh and replenished deserves much more attention than feeding the political zealots hooked on identity politics! Off soapbox

What a poor excuse for a food co-op. Years ago, the hot bar was excellent. Now, they serve leftovers most days, and if they have barely any left overs left, they just leave the bins with a few scraps of meat.
Every food co op I’ve been to, besides this one, has a fantastic deli. This co op doesn’t even have a salad bar.
If you’re looking for lunch, McDonald’s is a thousand times better.

Just stopped by once to get some picnic lunch and it was very fun to shop for. Extensive hot and cold deli, prepackaged salads and wraps, chips, cheeses, little sweets that are organic and fair-trade and low sugar and coconut sugar and gluten-free and all the things that make you feel better about eating dessert nowadays. I got the green pea and bacon salad, a hardboiled egg, and a chocolate truffle thing. We tailgated in the sun right in the parking lot and enjoyed the cast of characters rolling by.

An absolutely wonderful store but the meanest, rudest, check out clerk I’ve ever met. There’s no need to prove you’re right when the interaction was so innocent and misunderstood. I let her know what was in a veggie bag and she responded “I know, you don’t need to tell me.” My partner was smiling and excited about being at another Co-op, and we shared our excitement to lighten her up, we thought there was a connection to the others and the clerk rudely shut my partner down by saying, “We have nothing to do with the other co-ops. It’s separately owned.” I had to interject by saying that the branding looked similar, that’s why we thought that. She coldly responded “They have the same branding but different ownership.” The worst part was after we walked away her whole personality sweetened with the next person. It’s unnecessary to have that energy, and to be like that. Sorry you’re having a bad day? It just groceries, and there’s no reason you should hate the job that you applied for. We won’t be back, so that we don’t have to ever see this rude person again.

The customer service is non existent here. Nobody said hi not once. Got up to the register and right away instead of greeting me she just asked if I wanted a box or a bag. To try to give them a clue on how to speak to people I then asked how they were doing and all they said was good. Wow just absolutely horrible customer service. Its a good thing yall have some things that I need and its easily available because I would never come back here
