I have visited the Second Street Station a few times. It's a small-town diner with good food and great people. Serving three meals a day and carry outs.
They are laid-back folks serving good food and friendly service. Certainly worth a visit.

Food was decent. But I ordered bacon, chili cheese fries. Called the waitress over to let her know about my chili on my fries. She took it to the back and started talking about me since I could hear here clear as day. Won’t be going back while these two servers are on shift again.

Our riding group ate breakfast there on 11/5,6/21 and the food and service were great!!!! We met a few local folks and they were super friendly and offered us advice and directions on where to ride and how to get there best. We stayed at the highwater Inn and really enjoyed basing our ride out of there. The trails and sights to see in that area were wonderful and the leaves were beautiful!!!!! North Carolina will be back!!!!!!

Food was excellent! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of home cooking you're about to receive. But before you go, make sure they're open cause they are unfortunately closed one or two days a week. Other than that the place is perfect!! 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 's 😋 😋
