I've been to this building a gazillion times over the years. It's a great community center. Many different sized rooms available for meetings and concerts. All sorts of on going programs. Check their website for details.

They major staff Like Pat are very considerate and accommodating. Some kitchen help like Gail will approach me when I'm there to make an order and their first comment is "what do you want" rather than something considerate like "how can I help you". She would not get away with this rudeness at any private or public Kitchen elsewhere in Guilford. She would be fired.
Their food is almost always quite good, breakfast and lunch for seniors.
Ian is another problem. He has been rude towards me for months. Indeed, recently he gave me change after I placed my breakfast order and as a parting gesture he threw the bill part of the change at me. Outside of the Guilford Community Center he would have been fired summarily for his egregious rudeness. I approached Pat afterwards, and she agreed to talk with him. I think his response has been over the succeeding weeks to simply try to avoid me.

After lunch on Mondays upstairs there is an excellent Round Table Discussion Group among the men, many of whom have attended the lunch the senior lunch.

More some other time. Many things for soliciting my comments.

There is a lot going on at the Community Center. I happened to be there for a church service. The Vineyard Church of Guilford happens on Sundays at 10:30. Stop in some time - you will be pleasantly surprised 🙂

Guilford is the best..Terry does a great job, and keeps the costs down, and is very caring for everyone..love their meals, shows, and trips..
