Wow, what an experience and what a church!! It is huge, and well decorared and clean. I went for a conference but I loved the diversity including the decor.

I attend when I am visiting my family. Attended at Christmas and was shocked at the change in the church. The message was far from biblical. The pastor, David Platt, was rambling, monotone, unprofessional, unbelievably boring and long-winded, yet saying nothing. A bunch of useless words. A really sad fall from the large but still warm church it once was. Service was an afternoon family service and was not engaging for children at all.

This church has been a blessing for me for almost two decades. David Platt preaches from the Bible very well, just as Lon Solomon does. McLean Bible Church continues its mission to edify Christians and spread the Gospel even during trials and tribulations.

Originally and for a year of attending, I really found the church and their way of practicing inspiring. Unfortunately, and sadly, for the past few weeks, they started attacking other religions and profits.
Shocking and very low for the church and their pastors to attack and call other profits dictators or other religions scams! Low class.
I find this church and their practice insecure and misleading. Hopefully, they will find their way.

The music is really loud and they don't have earplugs - please bring your own. It's a rock concert more than a "church." The vibe of the people and their hubbub is frenetic, like "family friendly" escapism for bored suburbanites with no other outlets for public sensation-seeking.

Getting rid of Lon Solomon and firing all of their good staff in 2017 was a HUGE mistake. David Platt is scary and woke. SBC "leadership" destroyed MBC for money. The Holy Spirit spoke to me about their evil, I briefly challenged them, then left the church. Dump MBC .... Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg is the right choice.

In my conversations and understanding with this church, it ended with them saying “Jesus is just a jew.” I was utterly unimpressed and upset that is how much reverence it appeared to be. Also, i then asked about certain parts of Jesus’ life such as keeping the sabbath every week in Luke 4:16 and keeping Passover and the gentleman said its looking too deeply into it. However, i want to know this… One thing we did come to agree with is that santa clause and easter is pagan so thats nice, the building itself is nice but McClean church isnt for me. Thanks for the chat.

please watch "the real david platt" on youtube. both parts. after attending for a while, we are all heartbroken for this church. pray for the people in control for their true repentance to our only King.
