2024 update: We finally received the email to sign up for our usual 'come early to reserve your tree' but the farm was sold October 2023 and the new owners have decided that they want to charge a $40 fee, not applicable toward your tree purchase, for the benefit of coming early.

Also, their web site says that they have Grand and Douglas Fir trees, we usually get a Frasier Fir (better, longer lasting, smell) AND that their u-cut trees have sold out. So that tells me that they are buying trees from other farms.

It was nice while it lasted but it looks like our days at Lochsloy are over.

The reviewer Dzeff Lejlen has not been to the farm since 2020, which is evident by the date in the picture. We do have frasier, noble, nordman, doug, and grand fir trees which you may choose and cut. We have 17 acres of trees, and added a pumkin patch. This year we are also bringing in a small number of freshly cut nobles and nordman. For the folks who get to choose a tree before cutting it down, there is a $40 reservation fee the first weekend, and a $30 fee on the second weekend. The fee is paying for all the workers who support the reservation process. The alternative to the fee would be to discontinue reservations, which most of our customers truly want. New Owner.

My wife and I have been going to Lochsloy Acres Christmas Tree Farm as a tradition for the last 10+ years. Unfortunately, ownership has changed and the new owner has introduced a reservation fee that doesn’t apply to the cost of the tree. My wife spoke with Dixie, the owner’s wife, over the phone on 11/18/2024 and she offered to allow us to come in and reserve a tree today (11/26/2024) without paying a reservation fee. I took half a day off work and took our daughter out of school to partake in our usual tradition because of this offer. When we arrived at the tree farm, we confirmed with a gentleman behind the counter that there would be no reservation fee as the weekend had passed. We then spent an hour walking around the tree farm looking for our Christmas tree. Unfortunately, when we came back to the checkout, the owner who was now manning the counter, refused to waive the reservation fee, despite the fact that his wife (Dixie) had told us there would be no fee. We walked away and will never return to Lochsloy Acres Christmas Tree Farm.

The owners definitely have the Christmas spirit and were beyond helpful and friendly! They’ve thoughtfully provided many helping tools like mats to lean on when you cut and other things to ensure a comfortable, easy experience. We found a beautiful Grand tree very fast upon arrival due to their vast amount of trees and their pristine condition. Also, very grateful to have found a farm open before thanksgiving as this was are only time slot to get a Christmas tree.
This place will be a tradition for us every year from here on ❤️

My experience here was fantastic! They were extremely nice, helped me cut down the tree, loaded it in the trailer and drove it back to the front for me then gave it a shake to knock out the needles that were loose wrapped and help me put it in my truck. As a local to lake Stevens it was great being able to go somewhere close to home and get this kind of an experience!!

Great place to get a tree. Been a ritual for us since my son was born. Be prepared to get a bit muddy.
