I ordered 1 1/4 bevel siding. Bryan the manager said they didn't have that but they had 1 1/8 and that they had it in stock. I paid for that and when my guys went to pick it up they were given 7/8 bevel. My guys primed the material before install like they always do, they later realized it was the wrong size. I called Bryan and he said that he himself gave the material to my guys and that he had given them 1 1/8 and to send him proof by taking a photo that it was in fact 7/8 and that he would honor his mistake, which I did. He replied that he couldn't take it back since we had primered the material . I replied ok, but I still need help with the material I need to get andrequested that I should buy the right material at the cost or some kind of discount since it was his mistake. He said it wasn't his fault and that he doesn't owe me anything. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. He put me in a bad position because now I can't finish the job and have to wait and order material from somewhere else. Bryan seemed very unprofessional and didn't even listen to what I was saying and assumed that I wanted the material for free. I only wanted the mistake to get fixed and to at least honor his mistake and give us the right material a good price where I didn't feel like I am paying full price for the the same order that was given to me wrong from the beginning.

10/10 - thanks sooo much to Adam for tracking down the material I was looking for, and making this project possible! Called a few places but he was the only one who went a bit beyond... A+++

I had a great experience here. I had some shingle siding damage to my house, and couldn't find just a couple shingles to repair my house with anywhere. Every place that had them wanted to sell me a whole box! A worker at Issaquah Cedar and Lumber gave me a handful of shingles that had fallen out of packages over time, and even a handful of nails to complete the job! The repair came out pretty well!

These folks are awesome and great to work with! Brian was my sales guy and he helped me figure out my cut list for an Ipe deck I was building. Brian was always willing to update the quote when I made a design change, worked with me on ways to save money, help expedite the delivery of the material and gave me some tips and tricks to help ensure a beautiful and lasting deck. Thanks Brian and Issaquah Cedar!

Great customer service, selection, quality and delivery.. The crew working on site is always very friendly and helpful. We were looking for cedar planks and got a tour of the various kinds and dimensions in the store, leaving with a couple of free samples. Came back and bought $2k of 1x4 WRC T&G and the quality of the wood is excellent. They also check the pieces before purchase/delivery to make sure that they are not damaged. I'm very happy with the purchase and customer service and will continue using this location for my future lumber needs.

Go here if you want a condescending manager(?) tell you that they won’t do cut a handful 8ft boards down to 4 ft when I clearly stated I’m not expecting it to be perfect and will accept simple cuts and then ask if you have a drill to put boards together as a reason why they won’t cut down boards in half.

I’ll just stick with big box stores if these businesses are too elitist work with hobbyists who only want to spend a couple hundred dollars.
