I highly recommend Heatwave Designs. We had such a great experience with them and will 100% use them again. We originally had another contractor come and do a lot of our metal railings but we had a lot of issues. Ian and Tony came in and were so detailed oriented, easy to work with and they fixed all of the problems we had with the previous contractor. They made more hand railings for our interior and exterior as well that turned out awesome and finished trimming out our fireplace. Another bonus, out of all the contractors that we had in and out of the house, Heatwave was the only one to take their shoes off every time they came into my brand new house! AND Ian is also very talented at making artwork. He made a mountain piece that hangs above our fireplace that we just love!

I am more than pleased with the Heatwave team. First of all, their estimate was towards the lower end of about a half dozen that I requested. Most were either higher (some outrageously so) or there was something in the wording that raised red flags. The original estimate was based on a design I saw online, but after talking to Ian, we came up with something even more appropriate to the style of our house.
The work was completed in a timely manner, they brought the piece out before powder coating for our approval, and when it came back in finished condition, it was perfect and installation was flawless. Thank you both for your good work!

Ian and Tony are both very skilled craftsman and good business managers. They tell you up front where you stand on the busy schedule rather than string you along. They show up when they say they will, and most important, they deliver a superb product. In our case it was a handrail on a set of 9 non-standard steps on a curved path on our property. They get the highest marks we can give. They are the best.

Ian and Tony at Heatwave are the absolute best. They provide top-notch craftsmanship and efficient execution. They fabricated an 80’ steel guardrail for my driveway complete with LED lighting.
