I worked from 1974 to 2019. I have to say the retirement + 401K and pepsico stock was worth almost 1,000,000. They demand a lot but gor someone tgat has there heart in the job I found it worth the effort. I also had some very good bosses the ladt 20 years i spent there. It's not the right place gor everyone but i found it worth while.

The Worst place ever For loading and unloading
They push you out of the property about 8 hours until they unload/load you then they didn’t tell you where your trailer located and you need to find it by yourself!!!!

04/09/2024 I checked in 5:30 am and checked out 4:00 pm Please stay way from this place. Specially owner operator. wish I can give zero Star this place , employees are big time liars and loading its really really bad . It take 7 to 9 hours one truck at a time. Any one coming to this place think twice and do not book reload Also owner operator must ask a day worth of money
Detention is not enough.
Even the shipping person told me that do not take load for any Frito lay , Floor loads takes more then 8 to 9 hours , as one person work in a truck.
Bad experience will not come here or will make sure you get good pay worth of your time.

Arrived on time for my 2pm appointment. They told me i had to Drop the Trailer and Comeback the Next day. I got a call at 10pm saying the Load has been unloaded and i can pickup the trailer. Took 8h. I got my in and outs signed no problem.

I emailed the Broker (MODE TRANSPORTATION) to get a new Ratecon with Detention. They tried to avoid paying so they told me that the RECEIVER could take up to 14 Days TO Approve my detention. Is been 3 weeks since i delivered the load and i haven't received my approve detention. MODE is ignoring my emails.

Don't Deliver Loads from TX to WA from MODE TRANSPORTATION.

Again, no surprise with the Karen truck drivers on the reviews. Receiving starts at 0700, I had a 1000 appointment and was able to drop the trailer at around 0720. If you treat these people with respect, you will get the same in return. Unloader was upfront and honest with me saying that since it was floor loaded and not on pallets, then it would take at least 6 hours to unload. My company doesn't do same day reloads for this exact reason. You can not stay on site while they unload because they have had too many issues with poor drivers in the past. Unloader was telling me that the majority of drivers give him major attitude over the unload times. Remember, you (the driver) signed up for this life, and if you don't like it, feel free to find another job. Most of the time, the shippers/receivers (especially the major corporations) are only allowed to move so quickly. It's not the workers' fault. Just be prepared to wait. Bobtail out, find a place to relax and wait for the call. Only 4 stars simply because of the long unload times.

I hate leaving bad reviews but omgeee this places deserved it! Showed up at 550pm to unload bulk potatoes and didn't get out of there till after 4am 😑 I don't get it last year I was doing the same loads delivering bulk potatoes and would b out of there within 2 hours the most idk what happened new management or what but never want to go back

I was told to leave the property and drop my trailer and pick it up in the morning when I got here in the morning to pick up my trailer person in the office argued with me that you can't drop trailers here and the yard person was the one that said it. And trying to get my paperwork was a hassle. So make sure to get your paperwork before you leave here if you have to drop your trailer.
