I recently moved into a home that Current Home Technologies was hired to set up the security system and surround sound equipment back in 2021 when the home was built. When the new homeowners moved out, they had Current Home Technologies come out to cancel their service and remove loaned equipment.

Once I moved in, I noticed that the DSC security panel's installer code and master code were not reset back to the default codes when it should have been (as explained by Tony, the founder and CEO). Tony refused to send a technician out to reset the installer code (which would be a very quick and easy) even though it was due to their own error for not resetting it in the first place. As a result, they instructed me to just factory reset the panel myself, which will require a much longer process to re-enroll every sensor and device in the home.

Pretty disappointed in their customer service as this is a mistake on their end and they're unwilling to correct it. They also had the audacity to try and "sell" me on starting monitoring service with them. This is definitely not how you get new customers and more business.

UPDATE: Over one year later and they still haven’t “been in the area”. Still waiting..

Highly recommended!!

Tony was very responsive from the beginning on the initial phone call to explain what steps we would need to take to install security cameras and update our home audio system.

Everyone at Current Home, llc. was friendly and knowledgeable from Suzie in the office to Seth and Blayne who took care of the installation and fine tuning.

Every detail working with Current Home, llc was amazing.
We didnt feel like they were trying to up sale on products or services and they were very patient explaining the system and helped with the fine tuning for the best operation.

This company is the best all around that we have worked with in a long time. They show up when they say they will and do what they promise!

Our experience was so great, that we also had them put in security cameras at our future office.

Kudos to the team at Current Home Technologies for a brilliant job on my home cinema room. They designed it from bottom to top to work in a small bedroom and the results were fantastic. Dolby Atmos with an 8K Samsung QLED 85" TV and theater seating. Highly recommended!

I originally found a sample of their work when I went to a Parade of Homes event and my first impression ended up matching the services I received when I was in need of major design advice and home theater installation. Everything looks and works seamlessly, and my (self admitted) technologically inept partner is thrilled with how user friendly our new setup is. I look forward to doing business with Current Home Technologies again someday and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know in the Vancouver and Portland metro area.

I had the pleasure of working along side Tony Curtis in the award winning 2018 Parade of homes. Current Home Technologies provided all of the interactive features in the home from audio to home security. I really didn't understand all of the tech behind the hardware but interacting with Tony showed me his passion behind his work. That matters most to me because everything else flows from that.
