Went to check out the gardening section and noticed they raised their prices on the fertilizer by 7 dollars, just 12 months ago it was 29.99 and now its 37.99 so i guess amazon it is, i no longer will be buying from this store for anything else, staff is nice so its nothing against them. Im pretty sure inflation wasn’t that bad this year!

I am so pleased with the customer service I received from Ace yesterday! I was trying to find an apple corer, peeler, and slicer that attaches to the counter. Nobody had them in stock! I had 5 pounds of apples to prepare for one pie! You bet ACE is the place! And when I looked all over it and could not find it, the man that I spoke to walked right to it (Gordon, I think). Anyway, it is nice to have that kind of assistance.

Often overlooked, but Courtland Ace Hardware is packed with a variety of items. I needed to order a trimmer head for a 16 inch EGO trimmer. Customer service is great and personal. Much better than the other big box stores. Even fresh popcorn if you get there early enough.

They somehow had my initial review taken down. After this location made a fuss about FORCING people to wear useless masks during Covid, they had my review of their disgusting popcorn taken down. Here it is again, their store cleaning out dusty, stinky animal pens that they keep RIGHT next to the popcorn they give out.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Selection of products is great, as long as you are not seeking sheetgoods. There is a fun section of local products and gifts, some of which make fun stocking stuffers.

One recommendation: If purchasing bird food, whether a type for farmfowl or a type for parrots, immediately freeze the food after purchase. The bags at this Ace are unfortunately prone to moth infestation, and that is very difficult to remove from your own house or facilities if you carry them in.

This location is the best! The knowledgeable and friendly associates and manager make sure you have what you need- they will hold your hand while shopping or leave you alone to browse- Big Box be damned- I'll take the service with a smile every day!

Unfortunately just going to have to stop supporting Ace, the price gouging has become unbearable. Marking a lot of the smaller items up double the cost of them at other stores is very anti-consumer. $8.99 for a can of carb cleaner, you can go to Walmart for $3.90 or I'm sure any auto parts store would still be $5.00.
