Ive been a customer in the past, unfortunately Damon and the rest of his team let us down on multiple fronts and we no longer will be doing business here. We asked for an American Made product and were sold a grill that clearly said Made In China on the box. I called in to discuss this and was told they would look into it. They did give me my money back, but getting someone to do something when they say they will do it was really the bigger issue here. From the very beginning I had to follow up with Damon to even get the order going after he said he would follow up. When there were issues it took days to hear back from him. When he said he would refund me, I had to follow up twice and finally someone else said the check went out in the mail and a week later it was credited to my card instead. Its a shame as local options keep shrinking in which domestically produced items are available. Damon and his team simply do not offer the level of customer service that a lot of people appreciate and need in order to return as customers.

Monroe Fireplace has exceeded themselves once again with their products & MOSTLY their customer service. Stopped by the store out of frustration with a ongoing 4 year problem with roof install. Carl got us on the right path to recovery & knowledge. Today we had a surprise visit with one of their install guys to make sure new stove pipe was done correctly by my husband and he brought out correct roof part for the roofers. We finally now feel this roof issue is coming to a end today. HUGE THANK YOU TO CARL.

Monroe Fireplace did an amazing job completely replacing our wood burning firebox, with a new gas firebox, including doing all the electrical, adding a gas line, and redoing the tile facade of the fireplace. We couldn't be happier with the result - they did amazing work.
6 month update: Monroe did an excellent job with warranty calibrations, and even comp'ed our first annual cleaning - I couldn't be happier with Monroe's service and professionalism. I would highly recommend them.

After getting a couple of bids, we decided to go with Monroe Fireplace for our new gas insert. Damon came out for a home visit and helped us select the right unit for our space. I appreciate that they sell only the highest quality products. We had a fairly difficult installation because if our retro 60's stone faced fireplace, but he assured me that they had the skill to "make it look right". Other competitors said "no way, it will look terrible."
Today the team showed up for the install. They were polite, took care to cover our new flooring, and worked quickly to install our fireplace in just a few hours. Joe did a fantastic job doing some custom trim work to make it fit nicely. We are super happy with our new Lopi and feel like we made the right decision! Thanks Damon and crew!

Bought a new stove from Monroe Fireplace in 2019 … lots of issues over the years.. now a ceramic starter is out .. 186.00 for another cleaning and another 500.00 for the part and installation..we’re currently using our electric which works fine as we wait for them to call back as promised a few weeks ago…the phone conversations have been pleasant and the technicians are always nice . I would like to have a working stove is all .

The showroom stuff was really helpful and knowledgeable about products they sell and what will work for my property.
I really liked service when company representative stopped by before installation to make sure that advised stove will work and fit, also to measure everything and bring all supplies.
The installation is sour spoon for me.
Crew didn’t have right tool to perform installation despite pre-installation inspection. In my case they didn’t have crown to drill hole in stove pad for external air intake.
Luckily I had right tools in my car and I borrowed it.
Finally they broke metal crown to drill tile… no one proposed to reimburse broken tool.
hard to believe that crew don’t care right tools to perform proper installation.

As a contractor and business owner in the valley for 30+ years I have rarely been so disappointed with the lack of helpfulness to solve fireplace and chimney issues. The lack of real customer service and helpfulness to solve problems when community members need their help, especially with the depth of their knowledge base, is completely underwhelming. I will not be sending customers to them ever again.

I have an older gas fireplace insert that needed repair. Damon White did a great job locating the needed parts. Then Tylor came out and did a great job on it completing the repair. He was very professional and knew exactly what was needed to get my fireplace working.I highly recommend them for any repair work you will need.
