We do not have the facility or the man power power process our own meat. This is the second season I have used these experts with their meat flavoring. The venison bologna is great; the summer sausage with mild cheese is outstanding. Everything we had—burgers, sausages, roasts, tenderloins, and steaks—was done to perfection. We save a little bit of money each year just to get these fine folks to process our venison. God bless you for your hard work.

We recently moved to the area and needed to find someone local that could process our deer. We found the butchers block and will be life long customer's. When we made the initial call to ask some questions they were very helpful. We took our deer there and the unloaded it for us and gave us options to choose from on how we wanted the deer processed. It was about a 2 week turn around from the time we dropped it off to picking up the meat. It was very well packaged and all vacuum sealed. It is also labled so it makes it easy when it's time to grab something to cook. We are so thankful we found them!

Wonderful customer service they help me unload my Hogs very clean unloading area good communication about what I wanted done with the meat how it was to be cut. it was done a week later as promised I will definitely be using them again. F y i I would definitely try and get your ground meat before it's frozen we rolled it out with a rolling pin while it was in its plastic which makes it flat and goes in the freezer much better

The Butchers block -
First off, I would like to say that they are extremely nice and friendly people. I got to speak to them for quite a while during drop off and pick up. Their customer service is second to none. I am from out of state and had time constraints (ie to be hopefully home by Thanksgiving, but worst case by Saturday after. ) All the other processing companies wouldn’t even consider it and turned me away. Granted this was no small feat. My son and I got 2 deer a piece, 20 minutes apart. So we had 4 deer in one day. (My sons first and second.)
The Butchers Block said they would make it happen and they did!Their quality of work was excellent. Everything was vacuumed sealed So well, I saw no air pockets. They have many choices of cuts, sausages with many flavors . So far we polished off a whole jalapeño and cheese sausage for thanksgiving snacks that everyone loved. They are also offering meat stick snacks that are better than anything I have ever purchased in a store.
I highly recommend them for any of your meat processing needs.

About a week before harvesting a deer, I was told that they do not accept quartered deer early in the season but if I wanted standard cuts (hamburger) that they would take it. We show up a couple days later with a deer quartered up and was told that they would not take it unless deboned. I had to debone it on the truck tailgate. After taking the deboned meat back in, they mentioned that they could to it within an hour. At that point, I was aggravated yet glad I did not have to return at a later time to pick up the meat. When I went to pay for the meat, they charged an additional $30 rush fee. It would have been nice to been told this beforehand. To make it worse, the texture of the hamburger is a paste/mush.

Need less to say, I will not be return here. $82 for 30 pounds of hamburger mush.
