When we arrived just after opening, we were immediately questioned if we wanted to leave before even placing our order. The fact that most tables were still dirty from the day before, despite there being four employees on duty, was concerning. Nevertheless, we cleaned off our table ourselves and were greeted by a cheerful waitress.

We ordered a few beers and some fries with dipping sauces. The beer selection was impressive, offering something for nearly everyone. The fries were crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Overall, it's a great spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This place can get very crowded at times. Good amount of outdoor seating. Decent amount of tables inside. Can get pretty loud inside though. Service is friendly. Obviously beer, but also some non-beer options. Food is pretty good. Burgers and handhelds are worth getting. Would skip the nachos. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great bear and a huge array of beer flight options. Service was really unfriendly- maybe we got unlucky? We really enjoyed our beer and nachos! Funny toilets too!

I recently attended an outdoor concert event at Thimble Island Brewing Company in Branford, CT, featuring the amazing band, The Zoo, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! The brewery provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of live music and good vibes. The atmosphere was electric, the beer was flowing, and The Zoo rocked the house! It was a memorable experience that I won't soon forget. Thimble Island Brewing Company knows how to throw a party, and I can't wait to go back for more!

Where does one start?
Zero stars! Sunday afternoon almost empty no patrons ( should've been a good indication to find somewhere else to go) i didn't. Waitress starts off we are out of this that and the third, our pizzas are not like other places there are men.
Go to order and was told they don't have cod. At this point I asked if the old saybrook location would be better. Paid $7 for 3 flat sodas and they couldn't offer to ho cups.
When a establishment has zero business at 3pm on a Sunday that's a tell tale sign of a bad run place.

I have been a fan of thimble beers since moving to CT, I really like their beers. I stopped by on a hot weekend afternoon after a 16 mile coastal bike ride. As an eager tourist, expecting to learn some fun facts and such about the brewery.

I walked up and sat by the bar, a waitress said a brief hello, maybe they are busy, I'll be patient. Waiting, and waiting....the servers, were walking in and out and some were talking to other guests at the bar. Nothing. Then a bald male that looks like a supervisor come out from the back walks around and checks if I've been served yet. Gets me a menu and gets my drinks. Kudos to him, he was professional and courteous and the only male staff waiter I saw. The only other time that I was serviced or even spoken to by the other waitress was to collect the check.

It was a terrible experience. Servers were not malicious in ignoring me. But it was clear to me that I was an outsider and didn't look cool enough or rich enough to be worth their time. And that's why I will never go back there again

Wonderful experience visiting this brewery. Always good food 🥘, beer 🍺, and service.

Had the humus with Pita. Very tasty. Pretzel 🥨 bites with beer 🍻 cheese.. so very good. Chicken Wings 🍗 were delicious. French fries 🍟 with ranch dressing very fresh. Overall a great experience. Shared with my friends of course.
