If you’re looking for a break driving from Redwood Forest to San Diego, perfect place to stop. We did wine tasting, and Nathan was knowledgeable of wines and area. We ended up buying two bottles, had a tour of the cave where they store the wines. Nathan serenaded us with his opera voice in the cave. Great experience, they also make olive oil, olive trees were amazing. They have llamas on the property. Great way to spend an afternoon. Beautiful ground!

A Wine Lover's Paradise at Saracina Vineyard

Saracina Vineyard is a hidden gem in Mendocino. The tasting room is a charming space, perfect for a wonderful afternoon. But what truly sets this winery apart is the exceptional service, the outstanding wines, and the unique experience of a cave tour hosted by the talented opera singer, Nate.

Nate's passion for wine and music is evident as he guides you through a delightful tasting experience, sharing stories about the vineyard and the winemaking process. The Mendocino Blend was a particular standout - a harmonious blend of flavors that showcased the best of the region. However, don't overlook the 2018 Library Malbec! It was a surprising delight, rich and complex, and a must-have for any occasion.

One of the highlights of the visit is undoubtedly the cave tour, where you can immerse yourself in the history of the winery while enjoying Nate's beautiful singing. His voice fills the cavernous space, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Queen songs never sounded so good!

The overall experience at Saracina Vineyard is simply wonderful. The beautiful setting, coupled with Nate's expertise and musical talent, make it a truly memorable trip!

On a trip up the coast, we decided to make a "quick" stop at Saracina vineyards we saw along on the way. Well, a quick stop turned into a lovely 3 hour stop, tasting wine, having a charcuterie snack, and best of all chatting with Nathan, our wonderful host. He provided above and beyond service and made us feel so welcome! Even provided a restaurant recommendation for the next town we were going which was DIVINE. The wine was exceptional and will always remind me of our wonderful trip (we shipped some home, of course!). So grateful we decided to make this unplanned stop!

Very nice wines at a great price. The Vineyard is lovely. Staff was attentive but not well versed on the wines. No food. Short tasting. I did buy 4 bottles of their Reserve Cab and Olive oil. $160.

Lovely day on Saracina - Nathan's a gem, he actually convinced me to move back to Ukiah. For extra “accidental” pours and lots of laughs and natural beauty of the county wine country please visit and tip our friends at Saracina

Feels like being in Provence! Gorgeous and quite place. Very welcoming staff. They even gave us some cheese and crackers to accompany the wine. Forget the crowd and buzz from Napa this is much better.
