I’m so thankful that the Lord lead me to the Reliance church and family. This is truly a place where the Word of God is being spoken, where Jesus Christ is declared as Lord, and where the Holy Spirit is dwelling in our hearts. Like many other people, I’ve had some experiences at other churches that made me feel like I wasn’t noticed, wasn’t welcomed, etc. and I don’t want to make such a big comparison because I believe we as a people (believers) are the church, but Reliance definitely is somewhere that I have been noticed, greeted, hugged, welcomed and felt loved at since day 1. I absolutely recommend and WELCOME anyone and everyone to visit Reliance; all glory to God.

I went today with my mom for the first time. It was the first time we've been to church in over a year due to us having been badly hurt at our previous 2 churches. My parents were Baptist pastors for several decades until my dad passed away, and I've been a Christian since childhood (and I've been ordained as well). We enjoyed the service and the sermon and the music. However, that said, we had higher expectations that were not met. Being first time visitors (we are church shopping as we'd like to find somewhere to congregate again) we expected to be approached by someone in the leadership just to ask about us and make us feel welcome... You know, get to know us a bit and ask for contact info... to make us feel comfortable (my dad taught me the importance of that as well as my grandfather who was also a pastor, and to just turn in a visitor card is just impersonal, though I'd gladly give one to someone who interacted with us more), and that didn't happen. After the service we even stood outside for several minutes waiting to see if someone would talk to us and no one did... People just passed us by. In short, our hospitality expectation fell short. Because of that, I give 3 out of 5 stars. They need to work on that aspect. It's very important to make first time visitors feel VERY welcome.

Reliance is a wonderful church! The members are warm and inviting. Pastor Joel is amazing preacher and a mighty leader. If you are looking for a great loving friendly church for your family you really should join us on Sunday mornings at 10am or Wednesday at 7pm. Both services are wonderful. To everyone at Reliance church Happy New Years!!!

Reliance Community Church is a great place to come to worship, grow closer to God and if you are really interested in meeting new people, this is the place to make it happen.
The pastor and members of the church strive to be extremely relational.They exist to help people find Hope in God, and they strive to do this by developing relationships reaching up to God, reaching across to each other, and reaching out to those who don't yet know Jesus.
They are not about mere religion or a specific denomination, following God is much bigger than that. They are a body of believers who know that no single one of us is complete without the gift of salvation from the One who makes us whole. They are all about introducing people to the adventure that a life with Christ can bring a life of significance. Make sure you make the effort to come by and visit. You won't be sorry!

This church is absolutely amazing.

No judgement, just love.

I guarantee you'll find something that's completely out of the norm from what you'd expect a church to be like. I was raised Christian, and hated going to church. Because of Reliance, my perspective has completely changed!

I've been here twice so far. It's a really lovely church service, and I even teared up last Sunday as they had three baptisms! I checked them as an alternative to the mega church I feel lost in, and I will be back!

My church I love this church the pastor teaches straight from the Bible she doesn't add on to it he doesn't take away from it, it's a good place to here the word of GOD and fellowship with one another?
