I had 3 fans installed several years ago. They work adequately, but were undersized for what our house size requires. They're not as quiet as was promised. The installation work was shoddy. The electrical work could have been done better by a sixth grader. The romex wires were not supported or stapled, they were simply draped across the attic insulation. The fans were connected to the master bathroom circuit, in spite of my request to connect them to a lower-demand circuit. They never came back to fix this. Now a fan has burned out, and needs a new motor. They won't answer their support phone line, they won't return a voice mail, and they won't even reply to a query on their "contact us" web page. Think very carefully about how much you want to do business with these guys.

Have had our system for a couple years now. Works amazing and has made a huge impact on our electricity bills over the summer. Love it and wish I had gotten one sooner!!

self installed fan QC ES-5400 in 2022. Used it 3x this summer and heard a loud clanking noise, went to inspect and found one of the fan blades had a 2 inch crack in it. Called the company and was advised by customer service to fill out and submit their online warranty form which I did, was assured I'd get a confirmation email that day. I also asked if they have any info to send me for how to replace the blade, he said "nope, thats on you, sorry." Confirmation Email never came, it's been a week. Called and left 2 messages. No call back. Another week goes by. Called again, spoke to Samuel at customer service, he said they have no record of my form. Explanation for lack of reply to my calls, "we've been swamped." Call then mysteriously cuts off and he didnt call back though he had my number. Called again (got to listen to that stupid hold song AGAIN) and spoke to Nicole in customer service, she could not have been nicer. Took all my info over the phone, I'll get a confirmation email today and replacement fan should arrive within the week. Decided to ask her about any guidance on how to replace the fan she said "Sure, we have a replacement fan video, I'll email it right out to you!"

Great fan but CRAP customer service and support. If you're so swamped you can't provide good customer service, hire more people (like Nicole).

Amazing whole house fan. Super quiet and great for summer nights. We have owned other brands but this brand is far superior. Their customer service is also top notch, friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Self installed a QC Classic 3100 in our 1640 sqft. single story home in June. Also ordered RF controller with remote. Unit arrived in good condition, wired and tested unit without issue prior to install. From wiring an attic outlet for power to completing unit install and test took 4 hours. Decent instructions and user manuals aided the process. Great airflow in our home running on the low setting. Sound volume is similar or slightly less than the HVAC fan, so we're happy there. As soon as the night time temps drop into the 70's we open up and are comfortable all night. Consistently brings the house interior temperature within 2 degrees of ambient. FYI - Riverside, CA. area, we get HOT (100d +) during summer days. Impressed with how well the unit helps shed the heat load built up during the day. Best perk of the unit: running a fan is CHEAP.

Island Cooling has been QuietCool's Hawaii distributor since 2010. What I appreciate most is QuietCool manufacturing's constant commitment to improving their products for their customers. Motors continue to get more efficient, quieter and more effective. Controls are easier to use and systems are easier to install. QC's already reliable systems get more reliable.
They listen to feedback and make adjustments that make them better.
