A few days ago one of our swing gates stopped working. Calls to several businesses were made, but Artur of Puget Sound Electric said he would come by tonight, because he was leaving on vacation tomorrow. He came as promised, checked the electrical connections in a step-wise fashion, and then had me try the gate, which worked. He charged me only the cost of gas, and suggested that if the problem happened again that he would only replace the motor arms, not the entire gate complex. His prompt response, immediate repair, more than fair charge, and plan for further contingencies was impressive. 5 stars for sure!

A few year's ago we decided we wanted to have an automatic gate installed... I called around and quickly realized two things

1) There was one big player who was not very good at returning calls and said it would be 9 months to a year before they could get started

2) and then a variety of smaller companies with hugely varying reputations and levels of service. I felt a bit at a loss as to how to proceed so we put the gate idea on the back burner.

Two years later I started looking at automatic gate companies again... after reading reviews I settled uncertainly on 3.

I reached out to them.

One company was very quick to come out however I had to call them 2 times to get the promised quote over the next few weeks. I then had a few questions which they never got back to me about. I scratched them from my list.

The 2nd company I reached out to never responded.

The 3rd was Puget Sound Gates and Fences. They only had a handful of reviews but they did have a solid Youtube channel showing a great number of gates they had done. They were quick to set up an appointment and Naira was happy to provide a few references. Both references got back to me noting they were very happy - one was actually a well known Puget Sound builder who had Puget Sound Gates and Fences install a gate on a custom home for them...

Within a few days Arthur from Puget Sound Gates showed up in his work van... he was not a man of many words. He said "No problem - send me photos of what you want and we will prepare a quote". I did as requested and within 3 days I had a quote... it was fairly priced and, with the glowing testimonial from the well known Seattle builder, I said "let's do it".

Arthur and Naira were very efficient and within 3 weeks the gate posts were going up followed by the custom wrought iron gate and even electrical... they knew what they were doing.

No question was too small and Arthur was always available by phone. If I called he would say "I will be there this afternoon"... and he was! I even had a simple issue with the control box several weeks after installation... I called and Arthur came right over (no charge). Really impressive.

I must say we love our gate and were HUGELY impressed by Puget Sound Gates and Fences attention to detail, promptness, and service.

Puget Sound Electric Gates and Fences LLC did a phenomenal job for my family and I. I had an issue with the previous contractor who did the original install. Artur the gate technician from PSEG had a rapid response time to come out and diagnose what was wrong with my liftmaster gate opener system. He informed me of what parts I needed and was back within a week once he was able to get the parts to repair my gate opener system. He was kind, courteous, and professional with our whole business transaction. I recommend Artur and PSEG highly in their ability to please the customer and their needs. Thank you PSEG!

I called to schedule an appointment to get our 20+ year old electric gate serviced and/or repaired. The lady in the office was super responsive and indicated that they had a someone in the area and could stop by within a couple of hours. I told her that it wasn't an emergency (thinking that I would have to pay for emergency service fee) and asked to be fit into their schedule. She indicated that there was NO additional fee and that someone could stop by that day. WOW and that's service!

Artu stopped by and looked at our gate. After spending a good amount of time, he determined that the control panel was not working. He was very knowledgeable about the system and provided replacement suggestions based on our needs. We asked him to replace the entire system and he came back the following day and did just that! So within 24 hours, we had a fully functional gate with controllers and cellphone access.

I couldn't be more please with Artu and service he provided. Thank you so much!
