Ate here about a week ago for the first time. Service was friendly and fast however the meal was a little pricey and the restaurant looks like it could be a little cleaner it was a little run down. The food was good though. It offers little home cooked breakfast and lunch. Kind of a nice place to relax and have someone else do the cooking.

Pioneer market is ok but there is no A/C they have water coolers hot in the afternoon I was there for recycling my aluminum n plastic outside in the parking lot they're good people to recycle with

The store has the basics but the prices are a bit high and there is not a large variety. The best part is the restraunt in the back. The food is great and it's usually busy around breakfast and lunch which says the most because its not advertised as a restaurant.

I love the food, but the cook has struggled cooking on half a grill for almost 2months and now I can't get my Turner special. To the owners get your cook a working grill. **Disappointed Pioneer is my spot!

Best small casual eating in Chowchilla. Nothing fancy but great tasting. The best thin pancake anywhere. Lois is the best hometown chef ever.
