OMC? OMG!!

I’m a fairly good driver with commercial trucks. Not so much with trailers. What’s kept me employed and my boss from having to sell the results of my poor judgement as scrap metal, is OMC’s excellent craftsmanship and repair experience. Before my transition to professional tourism, I was a welder and 3d CADD pro (intermediate actually). Based on my experience, I saw no way the damage I caused on one trailer could be repaired. Especially some of the repairs I’ve seen attempted by regular CDL mechanics that think they can weld. For example, one re-welded aluminum ladder broke as a customer was climbing it. Fortunately she escaped injury. OMC’s repair? Next time I saw the trailer, I didn’t recognize it at first and had to verify the number. It was in better shape than off the showroom. I took some b4-n-after pics you should check out. Also, better than new, is the safety modifications OMC has been doing for my employer’s equipment. In other words, OMC takes on one the hardest and most unpleasant tasks in metal work. That is, re-working someone else’s poor manufacturing practices. This can be just as difficult as straightening twisted metal. However, wearing their custom fabrication hats, they built safety mods that the manufacturer’s designers missed. Now, I and my coworker’s tasks are much easier. Thanks again OMC, I know stainless and aluminum can be a little tricky to work with. But your magic has won out on everything you’ve done.
