If you’re looking for the perfect place to keep your boat, MDRM is the place to be! The docks are in excellent condition and the MDRM crew is a head above the rest. Whether you’re stopping in the office to grab a parking permit or need help transporting your provisions from your car to the boat, Angela and Danielle, are always on it with smiles, usually accompanied by a good laugh too. The community here is one that can’t be found anywhere else and the events that Jackie puts on for her boaters are not something to be missed!

This marina is by far the most beautiful and incredible I've been to! All the office staff are beyond kind and attentive, but Angela in the office has, on top of that, been a true friend who lights up my day. After Angela gave me an in-depth tour of the marina, I was completely convinced this was where I needed to be, and I moved onto my boat as a live aboard. If you're looking for a place to keep your boat, I can't recommend this spot enough!

I’ve had my boat at MDRM for 6 years now and it’s been a very positive experience. Jackie the dock master does an excellent job managing her team and solving issues, which are few and far between. Docks are modern clean and safe. Amenities are great. Location is really good, especially with restaurants and stores in walking and dinghy distance. I think this is one of the best marinas in MDR.

We came back to MDR after 9 years in Channel Islands/Oxnard and there is NO comparison! The docks are impeccable. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. The marinas are within walking distance from great restaurants, markets and shops. The staff know people by name and they are VERY dog friendly. Thank you to Jackie and her team for always making us feel at home!

I visit this location frequently, but my experience today was disappointing. When I arrived to pick up my order, the male staff member working the takeout counter around 8 PM on 9/27/24 informed me that my order had been made incorrectly and would take an additional 10-15 minutes to remake. I accepted this and waited.
While I was waiting, a woman approached the counter stating her order was also incorrect, and she pulled out my order so this was clearly a mistake he made and blamed the kitchen. The staff member then somewhat awkwardly pointed out my order and offered me the meal she had taken home and opened, which I found extremely inappropriate and unhygienic. I politely declined and chose to wait for the remake.
Strangely, the woman who had taken my order received her remake much quicker than I did. When my order finally came out, it was bagged without the rest of my order which was a dessert and bread and utensils which I had requested. The man grabs my dessert and instead of putting it in the bag he just hands it to me. When I inquired about the ice cream that was supposed to come with it, he apologized and went to get it.
When I got home I discovered that my dessert was missing the rainbow chips I had asked for. Overall, this was the worst service I’ve experienced, and I would recommend going to the Manhattan Beach location instead. The takeout staff here definitely needs additional training, especially when it comes to hygiene standards and customer service.

Betania is an ongoing information center. She always answer questions and she is professional and very helpful.
They keep the marina clean, safe. Friendly and happy place.
