This is completely gross and unacceptable. The bakery items are moldy and the groceries are old. I bought some croissants from Key food and only saw they were moldy when I got home! Beware if you shop here and make sure you inspect everything you buy carefully.

This location has the best florist. The arrangements always look so special with the unique palette and interesting mix of blooms. This spot has been my go to flower-shop since moving to East Village and I reckon I’ll keep coming back even if I leave the neighborhood. I hope they keep the guys working here because they truly are unparalleled artists!

Key food has been in the community for years. The Lower East Side would be at a serious food deficit without it. They off a small variety of cultural foods. More choices than other marketing in the area. One set back is they produce here. Very pricey and not as fresh. If you need the basics and hot food , this is a great place to go.

Th cashiers that work at key food are the laziest people I’ve seen. They’re inconsiderate, have no manners. There are 2 that are wonderful workers, the oriental lady & a sweet young dark skin girl.
The deli workers at the counter, ignore you, or they behave like you’re bothering them.
This is why most people will go to elsewhere. Check the dates on grocery, and make sure meat packages are closed. I’ve brought home open products.

Variety of products. Cheap & great quality. A great place to save your money. If something is out of stock, you can get a rain check for the sale price, which expires in 60 days. Everything is fresh here.

I've walked in there to produce some shopping.And I went to the vegetable section to buy some string beans.They don't have any and I decided on broccoli.The broccoli was partially yellow and I ask the photos.Guy about it and he told me about it.Don't buy it.That's that kind of an attitude for people and I don't know why he would go to that extreme to say that but unacceptable

The location needs some SERIOUS customer service training. The bookkeeper at this location was called over to help with an issue where I was overcharged and not properly informed of the procedure of getting my money back. She comes over to serve absolutely no purpose in solving the issue but looks at me as if I should know the answer. Her demeanor and attitude when she came over immediately escalated the situation, she then proceeded to call me a B in front of the store manger, LOL what a joke. I’m not sure where they’re hiring these people from but they should get a serious crash course on professional in the workplace and problem solving skills. I was very calm until she came over with a horrible attitude and could not care less to help with the issue. She literally shrugged when the cashier and I both were waiting for her to provide an answer.
