I’m new to sewing and was looking to pickup some fusible interface. I hadn’t been to Joann’s before and was a little confused.

Unfortunately the staff at the fabric counter is unwelcoming and unhelpful.

They sounded frustrated that I wasn’t aware how to get in line and instead shouted directions indirectly at me without actually offering help.

You’re better off going to a local mom and pop where the staff are friendly and genuinely want to help you get what you need.

I was able to find another store that was helpful with selecting the right interfacing. I’m new to sewing and sad to see Joann’s won’t be joining me on my journey.

With the prices going up for everything and the income for most people stays the same it is a good idea to start your own fabric craft business to earn some income. And, what could be better place than this store to start. It has everything you might need to start your creative small business. So, what is the best to make. Here is the list: Kids' clothing, pillows, hats, uniforms for factories or medical institutions, window curtains, grocery bags, scarves, cards and invitations, pet wears, sleep masks, Christmas decorations, stuffed animals, Halloween costumes, sweaters, aprons. The handmade items especially if labeled "Made in the USA" are in huge demand. So, make the product, sell on Etsy or eBay, pay taxes, keep profits and have a good life.

We purchased faux leather from JOANN and some other fabrics, too. It's a well-lit, clean store with wide aisles. Highly recommended for your arts and crafts.

Impossible to purchase. I saw only 2 staff on Sunday early afternoon- a huge line in fabric station, another huge line in checkout. Shelves are messy and lots of items are in large shipping boxes in aisle

This store has a variety of crafts to choose from and always has sales on strung beads. For example today I got them for 3.99 each for all strung beads priced up
to 14.99.
