H & R Custom Slaughtering

I've had several animals processed at different slaughter houses but never had this problem. All of our steaks are covered in bone dust and fragments. I have to wash each one before I cook it. To make matters worse, the last 2 packs of patties have had multiple bone fragments in them. I have literally have to wash off every piece of meat I've received from them; its pretty disgusting. You can see how bad it is from the 1 "after washing" picture. This leads me to seriously question the cleanliness standards of this facility and the people who work there.

I had H&R process my deer this past fall. I waited to post my review until I could try all of the different cuts. H&R did a great job. Meat is super clean, processed as ordered, and vacuum packed. Very pleased. Will absolutely bring my future deer to H&R for processing. Thank you.

Went there to buy some country style spare ribs, why finely opened package was very disappointed in the cuts of meat. Half of the cuts if meat were mostly fat. After trimming the fat . The weight of the fat was 1.50 lbs out of a 5 lbs package. Dont think we'll be going there again.

Have had beef processed here 2 times each time I was treated as if I was was a second class citizen.The first time I thought maybe someone was just having a bad day. An extremely rude older lady or I should say person because she sure does not act like a lady, I will say confronted me each time ! She has to be part of the owners family because there is no way a business would allow her to be the first person you see when you walk in. I will do without before I would do business with this place, NEVER AGAIN ! There have been some changes made with the staff, they couldn't be more welcoming, my beef has always been processed to my satisfaction, my review is going to be changed to 5 stars

This was our first time using H&R Slaughterhouse and it will not be our last. This father/daughter duo was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. She walked me through my ordering then they both pilled my vehicle full at pickup! GREAT service! Definitely recommend them?

I've been doing business with H&R for about 20 years, I have tried some of the others, but it's H&R hands down for processing my beef .They are CLEAN honest &have proven themselves . I can tell you this ,"DO NOT USE GARRETT'S SLAUGHTER/ BUTCHER shop in CLARKRANGE TN. You will NOT get your meat back. ?

The best cuts of meat around! We buy 95% of our meat from them because of the cuts and reasonable prices. Very friendly people.

First time to this place. The person behind the desk, who took our order, was absolutely pleasant and professional. Service was quick. We didn’t know what the meat would be like so we ordered light. Tonight I grilled the rib-eye steaks. Scrumptious!! We will certainly be going there for all our meat from now on. The prices were cheaper than Walmart and the meat was tender and tasty!!
