If you like apathy then come here! I went here to get my knee looked at due to severe pain. I was told by the r eceptionist that I couldn't be seen by the urgent care and I would need to makean appointment. The call center which makes appointment didn't mention how long your in pain matters in a walk-in. I thought a walk-in is to address your issue that day? Will not waste my time with the wal k-in anymore because they don't really want to see any patient.

The office staff was nice, including on the phone when making the appt. The doctor I saw today was "nice" but did not listen. He asked his questions and when he felt he had enough information he cut me off and asked the next question. I tried talking a couple times to expand on WHY I was there and what my concerns were, but I was never able to complete this thought, and finally gave up trying. Going there today was a complete waste of time. At the end he more or less said he had no idea why my knee had previously dislocated and if I want to go to PT I can. I took the PT phone #, made a follow up appt with the Dr, and plan on canceling both. I just wanted to get out of there, so I can wait for the next time my knee acts up and find a new doctor. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the staff was friendly and professional.

The doc was fine I think, but his support staff dropped the ball and never sent my preapproval in for gel shot. I waited over a month. Finally when I told them I was switching practices, it went through. Too late.
Then the crazy billing began. I’ve had 5 different bills, all incorrect. They would agre all the dates and amounts were wrong. They redid the bill, and it came out the same with different dates and codes. Latest issue is they didn’t credit my co pay. I needed to provide proof. I did. They said yes, they did get the copay at the time of service, but they refunded it. WHAT? There was no credit on my statement. Check your bill very carefully. They have some creative bookkeeping.
I had a great experience with TKR at Middlesex Orthopedics.

Initial consult was 15 minutes, at most, where I was told to schedule MRI. Second visit for MRI I was charged visit copay even though I wasn’t seen by any doctor that day. Third visit I was seen by Dr. Beiner for maybe 5 minutes and told “I don’t see anything wrong. Everything is clear.”

Hundreds of hardworking dollars wasted, I was left completely hopeless and in in pain 24/7 unable to sleep from it. Go to an osteopath instead. Connecticut Orthopaedics only cares about making money, not your health.

I initially posted a review criticizing a negative experience I had with one of their receptionists. I have updated my review after speaking to a supervisor who absolutely took my concerns seriously and rectified the situation. I was able to get in to be seen the same day, and the staff upon my return was lovely. I had no wait time at 7pm and the PA and tech were kind and professional. I would definitely return and recommend this office to friends and family.
