Pretty cool place to come spend a hot afternoon, the bridge is well done and even in Aug there was plenty of water and room to play, parking was limited though so if you get there late you might have to hike some.

Such a cool little spot with lots of history! It's been so quiet and very unpopulated the past few times I've gone down to the water by the bridge.

The museum wasn't open. The paths are nice and easy. I was aware the CCC rangers were working hard to accommodate folks with disabilities.
The weather was warm, the river looks great. However we were advised not to swim. The Temps were 35°, and they have too many casualty/fatality in March. River opens in June.

Very well maintained park. The covered bridge is magnificent, largest of its kind in the world, they say. A great place for a picnic and hike, many very interesting historical markers. The S. Yuba River is beautiful and clear. Well worth the stop.

What a fun adventure! The bridge is really cool and the view from the windows on the bridge was really pretty! I had so much fun. The visitors center was closed so didn’t see that. The gas station was really cool. It is close access to the river. It’s very clean and there are lots of shaded areas, picnic tables, and the cleanest park bathrooms I have ever been in. It was a great experience.
