Pretty new with metal working, I came here a few months ago to purchase scrap metal to practice my welding, I now come a few times a month for all my metal needs. I custom make my own floor lamps, and occasionally get some metal gate/fence work, Bobco is the place I come to, without a doubt.
Everyone was helpful explaining things to me around the shop, how to order products, etc.
I even had a custom project I was working on and needed some advice, their associate walked through the scrap area with me and really helped me pick out the right pieces. I wouldn’t have spent hours going through it all, I was in and out with in 20 minutes.
Big thanks to Allan for always being super kind, everyone is very friendly and supportive.

TOTAL B.S. owner wont invest in a roof so all of the metal is rusty. i spent an hour here just to immediately return the product after it was loaded.
not worth it if you have to spend time removing rust. at least the ladies working there were nice.

I came looking for cold rolled mild steel and let me tell you, unless you're getting a full sheet of 4x10 don't waste your time. Their scrap section is completely rusted, bent, and damaged

I needed square tubing for an 8x8 diffusion frame and wasn’t sure if they took non-commercial orders. I was directed to the owner who was really kind and helpful. I got a great price for the tubing and they cut it to size right then. I’ll be going back for sure.
