So grateful this place had a bathroom. I stopped at 3 different parks to pee and none had bathrooms. I just about peed my pants before I found this boat ramp. After going to bathroom I sat in parking lot for a bit it was really relaxing and quiet and fun watching a few doe and their fawn wander nearby. Pretty decent view too. I really enjoyed this place.

Been fishing here since I was 3. Only been arrested there once. Lock your car if your going to be away long. Lots of other people that can't afford to go out on a boat trip but can afford to cruise by and check your door to make sure you didn't forget your wallet when you left. Be safe

I love the Black Point boat launch! It's got a great view of the Petaluma river. Plenty of parking. Picnic benches, bath rooms, an area to clean your fish. And the people are really friendly too. Even the sherriff! They post pictures of which fish are safe to eat for specific age groups. I think that's really important for our the safety of our community. Thanks!!!

The Black Point Boat Launch is a great place to launch your boat! With direct access to the Petaluma river as well the whole Bay Area, what more could you ask for? This boat launch is equipped with plenty trailer parking spots as well as a couple standard sized spots. There are also the amenities to catch fish with a nicely sized dock. Once you catch a nice striper you can head over to clean your fish (if caught legally of course). One of my favorite things about Black Point is the area where you can grill and sit at the picnic table. Once you’re done cooking up a meal, there are two bathroom stalls open for your use (incase those beans run you for your money)

Excellent boat launch. As new condition. Last used Feb 2016. Very quiet and right on san pablo bay. You do need some boat handling skills to navigate against river current. Perfect for boats 20' and smaller
