I can't say enough positive things about this place. If YOU want to better your life, follow a program and enjoy the success of it...this is the place. This place and the amazing women running it saved and changed my life. As I move on from it, I will always be here for the MGWM!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️♀️♀️♀️

I'm ashamed at all the women that took advantage of this place just to put someone down because they were not willing to follow the rules. Joan was amazing and was moved to an extension of the shelter. She was always sweet. Most people become homeless because they don't want to follow rules of society. This place helps to rebuild that connection with society and God. I'm blessed to have been there for my short time, and blessed that it is still running because there is not a lot of shelters in Snohomish County.

It changed my life I’ve been homeless off and on my whole life but the structure and lessons learned here have made me a successful person. Great caring and patient staff. Your are not just a number but a person worth saving and helping.

I was there several years ago, the memory is terrible. The woman Joan was cruel and played favorites. She is a false Christian. All she wanted to do was punish anyone who didn't go along with everything she said. The owners are crazy, the daughters forced everyone to take classes and talked down to anyone who wasn't a holy roller evangelical brainwashed type. Awful place. I would never recommend it. Adriana is a b-word.

I also had a very bad experience at the Monroe Womens Mision, that woman Joan is mean to everyone if they don't agree with her and pray all the time in the way she wants them to. The owners forces you to take calsses about religion and walk a long way to a church and punishs you if you do any thing wrong and she has her favorites. They kick people out for practicaly nothing and take your money anyway. If they have six people moving into the same space in one month they make a lot of $$$. I think they are crooked as a dog hind leg.

Horrible place the so called director is evil and she goes throughs donations and keeps what she wants first. When you go there you leave worse off than you went in . They don't help you move forward you leave homeless no compassion. It's not a place of God it's truly sad . They are not in it for the right reasons.

Puts people’s health at risk. Discriminates against the disabled. This lady “Joan” seems like a witch and based on previous reviews others agree. They put the disabled on the streets instead of providing stable housing resources to follow their stay. You pay a sliding scale rent to live in a shelter! And they’ll kick you out before your months even up.

I visited the place Tuesday pm . The lady said they have no place to take me in . She didn't bother to ask who I am or what I wanted. I told here I don't want to stay I want a group support she said we don't have that kind of activity , I told here I am looking for a job , she said we don't have . Didn't bother to ask if she did ask then she would know that I am a psychologist and a family adviser who wanted to help the ladies even as a volunteer . I wonder why?
