Had an incredible night at the Christmas Carol cocktail show. 4 cocktails served throughout the show with a holiday theme. The show was great. The servers were also the actors on stage. They were very fast and smooth with getting drinks out and cleared up before the next round. The theatre was clean pretty well, considering a shoe had just ended as we were waiting for our shoe to start. The greeter at the front was funny and friendly as can be. I showed him my tickets on my phone through the fever app. Then you can have a seat and wait, out go to bar, it concessions stand. It's first come, first serve in the actual theater. No signed seats. There is theatre seating and tables with chairs. Most of the tables are Rajeev immediately. We were there early, so we got a nice table right by the entrance door. The actors encouraged us to take photos and video to post just no flash, no ring tones, no talking during performance. The drinks were good, the show was fun, great time all around.

We attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy Part 2 after the last showing was so highly recommended. This was amazing! The performance troupe was so talented and engaging. The drinks (had the mocktails) were delicious. The theater was decorated beautifully to contribute to the ambiance. Parking a bit of a pain but having been in the area before I knew street parking was hit or miss when events were on. The Lafayette Parking Garage's cost is sometimes worth it with convenience. Will definitely look for and attend more events at the Bijou!

Such a beautiful evening and a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit! The musicians were fantastic and so personable and the venue was so cozy with all the candles. Do not listen to the naysayers - it was just great!

Great little theater. Every seat is a good seat for a show. They have a bar, and sell basic snacks. There are two and four-person tables along the sides of the theater.

Very cute, nice old theater. Good vibe here. Owner is very nice and friendly. Really enjoyed the event being held here. Coffee, and restaurants nearby and across the street.

March 14, 2024 - The Candlelight concert: "From Bach to the Beatles" was worth the drive. Intimate seating in terms of size and display, the string quartet performed beautifully. Four Yale students exhibited why they made the grade in terms of admission with their earned expertise playing their instruments. The segue from classical composer Johann Sebastian Bach to the famed English band, "The Beatles," came off easily. For me, their version of "Strawberry Fields Forever" had the most moving execution.

As for the theatre, a full bar is available throughout the show as well as popcorn. Staff is attentive and polite. Two show times are offered to ticket buyers - basically, seven and nine in the evening. Restaurants abound within walking distance if you care to eat before or after a performance.

This was our first time going to an event at the Bijou. The atmosphere was wonderful. The Queen show was awesome! The workers were so kind and the parking garage was right across the street. We've already booked the next show that we want to see!
