My customer ordered some bead board and cap for it to be delivered to her house on a Wednesday, never showed up Wednesday no phone call nothing. following day we called and they said they would be there at a specific time and I called to ask him when they would be here also and they said an hour, finally an hour and fifty minute's later they show up. As a contractor we schedule our customers weeks in advance so when you have a day to install and they don’t show up on that day it sucks because now we have nothing to do. Do better, next time call your customer and let them know you’re not delivering on that day or better yet deliver on the day you promise..

I do many large residential framing projects every year and Rings End is bar none the best lumber yard in the state. Their quality is fantastic, they get orders out quickly and immediately rectify any issues when they arise. Specifically their sales rep Joe Gulish is knowledgeable and provides really good customer service to his contractors.

Our experience using Rings End, Branford was absolutely horrific. We ordered two cabinets to go above the toilet in the bathroom and a vanity for a bathroom. We worked with Mark Whitingham. He was absolutely terrible, if we didn’t reach out to him, we would still be waiting for our stuff. Every single ounce of communication was because my husband or I reached out to Mark Whitingham , only to hear back a handful of times with zero regard for his customers. Absolutely awful customer experience start to finish.

In addition to the absolutely horrific customer experience by Mark, when we finally got the cabinets, they were broken. So we were told that we were going to get a replacement, and when we waited and waited, finally reached out to Mark, got the cabinet, the replacement one was broken, chipped, and very poorly assembled. See pictures below. When asked for a refund or some sort of mediation, he said he would get back to us….and what do you know? We are still waiting to hear from Mark Whitingham. We were also very over priced and paid about $250 extra for these cabinets. If you go online and look they are much cheaper.

Honestly, find a local cabinet guy and have them do what you need. My husband and I have a few good recommendations and we really wish we went that route. Mark at rings end did an absolutely horrible job after we spent almost $4000 on redoing our bathrooms.

Paint department is great but the lumber department seems like
they are always doing me a favor when asking a question on material. Had a problem with a window order where one guy didn't give me appropriate information on windows . Ended up ordering $35,000 from Lansing. Tired of bad customer service...

I’ve been here a few times , reluctantly. Gentlemen who works in front of store behind the desk with hearing aid and glasses, does not enjoy helping. every time I have to deal with him, his outburst are worse than a 2 yr old. This man has thrown a mouse and paperwork in the air in front of me and my customers. Terrible customer service. And I don’t remember the guy in paints name but he needs to lay off the Hispanic jokes when he sees one. Only purchase from here when absolutely needed

Good service. Nice selection of building materials, power tools, paint supplies and accessories. Finding yard materials and lumber can take additional time if you are not familiar with the yard and you are unable to locate a yard attendant for assistance. I have purchased paint from Rings End and it was always consistent in color with previous purchases. Their refund and exchange policy is terrific. Highly recommended.

My husband and I are renovating our house and had a WONDERFUL experience buying windows from John Kish. John is so knowledgable and carefully explains all the details about a product. He answers every question thoughtfully and completely. He was prompt in quoting us products and I never felt like he was rushing us or his explanations. Looking forward to learning more from John throughout the rest of the project and picking great products for our home!
