Great to visit a family owned winery that was very accessible to where we were staying. We enjoyed sitting outside with room for a little person to explore. Well worth a visit.

We had no expectations for this winery, just noticed that it was in the area where we were going to be that day. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I am a fan of dessert wines, and thought theirs were very good. My companions liked some of their other wines as well. Nice picnic bench area to sit, sample, and chat. It's not a fancy, upscale winery, but it is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Lovely place for wine tasting. Friendly people and the wines were very good. Give them a call and pre book the tasting. Almost forgot to mention the two lovely pups, who appreciates if you throw the ball.

Came here after Thanksgiving in 2017 on a drizzly gray day, which made the whole scene quite beautiful really, quiet and soft. I was just reminiscing about it - I met my favorite winery dog there and I am sorry I can’t remember her name! A gorgeous German Shepherd. Came to these reviews to see if anyone had mentioned it. I’m so grateful to my local friend in Martinez for taking me here on a visit to the Bay Area (traveling from Minnesota). The port really stood out but all wines we tasted were great. Go for the port, stay for the other great wines, the idyllic setting, and the dogs! Top notch hospitality from this family, I loved it.

Took my Fiance here on a Monday, we had a great time. The owner lives on site and walked over from her house when we pulled up. She had plenty to say about each wine we tasted, and poured generously. We left with 2 bottles, a nice wine glass, and several reusable corks for our other bottles. I've seen Viano wines for sale at Safeway, but the price was of course better direct from the source. Cant wait to bring more friends on our next tasting.

We have lived in Martinez for 12 years and have always wanted to come here to taste their wine. We finally made time to go and wished we’ve visited sooner. We loved their Hillside White and their Zinfandel Port was AMAZING! No need to go to Napa now. I’m so proud of our neighborhood winery. They have a nice picnic area. We’ll be sure coming back with friends and family to picnic there next time.
