Best quality meats and their deli is top notch. Love that you can order meat packs in bulk, they have just beef or a variety pack. Amazingly priced and the freshest around. Their customer service us top of the line. This is the best lunch spot in Red bluff. I'm so lucky to have this place in my town. Best of the best, period...

My husband and I really enjoy this place. We have tried almost everything from their sandwiches to their sides (Mac n cheese is soooo good) their cakes are heavenly to the end of an amazing sandwich.
The pictured one is their August specials ( B.L.T.A.) one of the best blts I've ever had. Also their bread bowls with clam chowder is some of the best I've had!

Great butcher. Very clean. Very attentive to your butchering needs. Meat is packaged great! Good prices. Friendly staff. You can get delicious sandwiches and salads. Grilling supplies. I was very impressed with products they offer.

My family has been going to A&R since they were in dairyville. The last few deer we've taken in we've gotten very little meat back. 1 deer will be roughly 50lbs hanging and another will be 90lbs hanging and we'll get almost the exact # of packages back. Recently I brought in a deer and asked for $100+ worth of Jalepeno cheddar pepper sticks. I got 15 packages of regular. I told them immediately (saturday) when I noticed the label only said pepper sticks. I spoke to Cole, who said no problem, we're making some right now, and we will call you on Monday. No phone call Monday. My bf goes in to pick them up Tuesday, and they're still not ready. I go in on a Thursday to pick them up, and I only get 11 packages back?! You'd think you'd get more once you start adding more stuff to it. I told them that I gave them 15 regular, I want at least 15 jalapeño cheddar. I paid almost $400 for my deer, I would like it all back. They said that's based off of the "weight" on the tag, and it's asking too much, but they'll give me 3 more. My 45lb deer had 11 packages. My 83lb deer does, too I asked for half of my ground venison to be turned into jalapeño pepper sticks, not a specific weight, mind you. I just opened one of them, and they are the worst pepper sticks I have ever had. They are incredibly dry, way too over smoked, and there's barely any jalapeños in it and ZERO cheddar. Idk if they're getting too big to keep track, but we will not be going back to have animals processed. Not to mention - who's deer did we get the first time? Or the second time? My name is nowhere on these packages, and I know they didn't regrind my 15 regular packages of peppersticks. This isn't the first time they gave us something wrong - this is just the first time It's been absolutely terrible and worth writing a review on. I can't even take these back and get a refund because it's literally my deer - you can't get that back. They'd have to take from someone else to make up another 15 packages. Save your money. Vaccuum seal your own bags. Especially when the other night, one of my packages was vacuum sealed twice - because the first one was tore all of the way open. Why they didn't take the meat out and just reseal it in a new bag - who knows. I have pictures of it and a side by side of the previous jalapeño cheddar sticks we got vs these ones. They're almost black they're so dark. I posted them under photos.

I went to A&R meats for the first time. Ordered 10 pounds of jerky for a fair price considering the economy. They custom made it to my liking and my family loved it.

I never get just the pound I ask for, they always seem to go over. I have had to go out to car to get extra money when I’ve only asked for a pound. Young man behind counter hateful.

I LOVE their sandwiches! My fave days are Wed & Fri because you can get your sandwich on grilled garlic bread.
They get really busy at times so might be good to call ahead and out your order in. I have waited 45 min before but it was the Friday Tri-tip on garlic bread day.
Need grilling supplies? They have it from all kinds of grilling spices for every taste on up to your professional grills.
Need meat? They have a wonderful selection in their butcher case.
And the staff are all friendly and helpful.
