Patch and staff are such nice & helpful people, and their variety of delicious treats are sure to delight everyone!
The outdoor seating area is right at the first corner of downtown Victorian Main Street, Ferndale, so taking your treats with you for a stroll or eating them at Patches’ are both great options. They also take online orders for pickup or delivery, in case a trip to Ferndale isn’t in your plans this week - and you can also find some of their goods in Loleta at Jersey Scoops ice cream shoppe!

If you want delicious baked items and/or tasty ice cream, this is the place to go! Everything I’ve tried here is good, but I especially like the cheesecakes, browned buttered sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and the chocolate dipped coconut macaroons. For ice cream, Danish butter cookie is my favorite. But really, it’s all good. The staff are friendly and the owner Patch is awesome - he works hard to make good quality products!

While on our road trip we saw this town on the road map and decided to swing by. Ice cream sounded good so we stopped by this shop. I'm so glad we did. Fresh pastries, creamy ice cream and the attendant was super friendly!

The only thing you need to beware about is the single scoop ice cream is like 3 scoops of ice cream ? things could be worse but just a heads up! Definitely try the "Danish butter" flavor!

Bonuses: the ice cream comes from the cows right there that you can see as you're driving in and the spoons change color.

Definitely worth a stop!

I've had Patches' Pastries a few times, but wanted to right this review specifically for their Snickerdoodle Cheesecake. I think of myself as a cheesecake expert and this is hands down one of the best I have ever had. It's even made me forego my beloved pumpkin pie for this year's Thanksgiving feast, in exchange for this delicious dessert. It's a must try! Their carrot cake is also one of the few I have seen made without cream cheese frosting and it is AMAZING.

First of all, every employee there is delightful! They were so kind to give us local recommendations that were amazing. Second, every treat we tried from Patches was delicious! My favorite was the raspberry Danish or the Coconut Macaroon! ?
