Many of the teachers are amazing but the DUSD has failed to feel it’s facilities unkept, has lied on its reports, and spent tons of money on a non existent facility master plan

I feel for any students, especially those who may be LGBT, that grow up in a small town with a Vice-Mayor like Mr Hickman. Kids deserve so much better than a town official who spews ludicrous bigotry and hatred and tries to pretend its reasonable. Schools in this town have an uphill fight, obviously.

I went to school here I now live in Cleveland Ohio haven't been here in 40 years.
I lived in the almond and walnut Orchard called the Dixon Ranch Schroeder Road.
Todd Schroeder was my best friend and his cousin Delbert lives up the road a little further we used to go to the Stuckey's and buy chewing tobacco when we were 12 years old.
The farm was owned by John I Ramos.
All the Almond and walnuts from this Farm went to Mary Any Nut Company where my grandma work.
My step-father's
Father used to work for Solano Irrigation and we would see him daily checking out the canals.
My parents were drug addicts.
My mom used heroin.
My stepfather was a six-foot-four Hell's Angel biker, whose only purpose was to run crank for the Gang.
We were abused physically and mentally on that farm.
In fact I'm currently 40 years later I have to admit that I am going to extreme Mental anguish looking at photos of the farm and pictures of the school that I went to during this very hard time of life.
I went to CA Jacobs Middle School before before I moved to Cleveland to live with my father at the age of 13.
My Father and his wife me too but at least they didn't physically abuse and bought me food and clothes.
Set CA Jacobs Mr. Alvarado was the principal what's the time Mr Scritchfield what's the assistant principal Mr. Traverso was my gym teacher and my favorite his wife work as a secretary in the office her son Jared was my best friend. He lost his wife at 12 years old another friend of ours and we're playing with start 30 odd 6 hunting rifle accidentally got shot.
when I was 13 my stepfather overdosed on speed. The abuse became so bad my mom had to send me to live with my father.
My younger brother and I were separated and I was in terrible fear for him for years.
Dixon California had a profound effect on my life that still affects me to this day.
I do not know where that man lives or if he's still alive.
I hate him and have nothing but ill will for him.
I was shipped away never returned to Dixon California.
I know it's a beautiful place for probably most who reside there but for me it represents a small slice of living in hell.
Don't know why I looked it up today.
If I never see this place again it would be just fine for me because I escaped the grips of hell that this represents to me. And I know today then I must stay away or else it will draw me back in,and succeed in my final demise.

When you have a school district which is cutting language and Honors classes and expanding it's funds into 4K flatscreen TVs for the district office and states it cannot afford chairs for graduation.

That's the DUSD.
