What a beautiful building! For permits and inspections: I had to wait 5 minutes once and 10 minutes the other time. The inspectors and building people all have offices near the counter where owners and contractors do business so you don't have to wait long for answers.

4/16/2016 This particular review is on the city department office in Coronado. I called the number provided at the city because we had a no show inspector. I spoke with a lady named Laura who was extremely rude. I asked for the building department she said that she didn't work in building. She also said she cant put me on hold. I expressed this was a time sensitive issue and Asked if she could help. apparently she did not want to so again I asked her to hear me out. She did and provided me with the number to an inspector. I called and left a voicemail for him. she told me to call back in 5 minutes. I did and she transferred me directly to a voicemail -__-. I called back again she said obviously he is busy and cannot help you leave a voicemail. I then asked what time frame it would be in order to receive a call back. she rudely said i dont know. I then decided the customer service there sucks! and hung up. I was disgusted that I would have to call her in order to be helped. Someone should really evaluate the level of customer service that is being supplied on the phone lines. Sounds like she is not interested in helping or being on the phone in general.

UPDATE: This second time we were lucky we hadn't to wait, and the lady was super nice and make all the corrections and took our planes very cordially and friendly. It was pleasant to deal with it this time.

FIRST REVIEW:Honestly, moving paperwork and stuff always sucks, so nobody can expect it to be fast. But there was only one person attending, and even tho he was not agile at all. Desperating the waiting time. Ok ok, it is a job which needs to check many plans and submittals and they must be reviewed so they are according to rules but at one point he just left and we had to wait again until somebody else appeared. Not that I can presume I take a great advantage of my life time, I am pretty lame, but gosh, could they at least try not to make me feel like if I were a piece of dust and they were forgiving my life? They were not even trying to be agile. Whatever, it is burocracy, just have a burrito afterwards to recover the joy of living.
