The babybay original co-sleeper was on backorder for a few months, but thankfully we received it on-time. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The white color works great with the rest of the furniture. It has been a major help to have the baby by the bed-side for late night feeds or diaper changes. We got the mattress protector as well which has been extremely helpful.

This review is about the ease of assembly and the appearance and quality of the piece--our baby has not quite arrived, so I can't speak to functionality yet.
We purchased the Babybay bedside sleeper maxi (and accompanying mattress, mattress protector, and sheets). We knew that we wanted to use the bedside sleeper for the first several months, so we got the larger size, and it definitely looks spacious (we also got the converter rail so that we could have her sleep separately from our bed if need be).
Pros:
I love that this is German-made (would have been okay with anywhere that has strict environmental and safety restrictions about what chemicals/finishes can be used on children's furniture, but am definitely comfortable with German regulations for that). We got the natural wood and it is a beautiful, light, almost lustrous finish (pictures in review). It is very easy to assemble (one caveat listed below) and it is very sturdy once it's together. I love that it's convertible for so many functionalities.
Cons:
I don't understand why the pieces that connect the converter rail have to be so strange. Everything about the piece fits *perfectly* and symmetrically, and then randomly these connectors leave an asymmetrical gap when you attach them as instructed. Pictured below. Also, as much as I do like the look of the natural wood when compared with the other finishes on offer, I would probably have picked a painted one if there had been a greater range of colors.
In exchange for this review I got a free mattress sheet--nevertheless the opinions expressed here are my own.

The babybay bassinet is one of the best products I purchased for my newborn. It is made of high quality birch wood without toxins. I love the smell the wood. The mattress pad is comfortable for my baby to sleep on. It arrived with no odor, it is hypoallergenic and free from hazardous chemicals. I love babybaby and their products!

We ordered the Babybay Maxi with the knowledge it was backordered until April. The communication from Babybay about the status of my order, once it was at the warehouse about to be shipped out, and once it WAS shipped out was appreciated!

It actually arrived early and was SO EASY to put together. Seriously. I’m due in two days and I put it together by myself.

The bassinet is beautiful and we are SO pleased with it. Genuinely could not be happier with our purchase and can’t wait to use it in just a few short days. Thank you, thank you, Babybay!

We just had our baby on Oct 25th & we love our Babybay Bedside Sleeper. It fits perfectly with our bed & room. We could put any accessories in it. This is a perfect baby crib that we have in our mind.

There are a couple of occasion where we have some changes with our order & the customer service is excellent. They give us response in a quick manner & they are able to resolve it beyond our expectation. We love it & really appreciate the team!
