I hired Carpet Man to redo the flooring in my house. The work was done well, and I was happy with the results. However, I had some minor repairs that needed to be done after the work was completed, and the company was very unresponsive.
Adam came over to take a look at the repairs that needed to be done, and he said they would get back to me. However, I never heard back from them, even after multiple phone calls and emails. I'm very disappointed with the company's customer service after payment.
Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do good work, but their customer service is poor. If you're looking for a flooring company, I would recommend finding one that has a good reputation for customer service.

I bought over $1000 worth of vinyl plank flooring recently from their store (including $125 for shipping), and what I got was a defective unusable product and very poor customer service. When I opened the boxes before installing them, almost every plank was damaged in the same place on the ends of the same side. So I called the store to let them know that the flooring was damaged and I needed to return it for a refund. Ashley told me over the phone she didn’t know if I could get a refund and that I’d have to wait for Nancy to call me back in the next day or so after she "talked to the manufacturer to see what they wanted to do about a refund.” I couldn’t believe that was the response. It was not a warranty issue because I’d just bought the flooring. It was a simple situation of being sold a defective product. I told Ashely her store should stand behind the product and simply refund my money once I brought back the obviously bad planks still in their boxes. She rudely interrupted me and said I’d have to wait for Nancy to look into it. Ashley is not a new employee and should know when a customer deserves a refund--it’s basic business. So I called back a little later hoping to speak with someone else, but she answered, and for whatever reason had a different story about a refund. She said they’d refund me after I returned the boxes to the store. When I brought all 7 boxes back, she was the only person there and I was the only customer there. She was uncourteous and unhelpful and all she said to me after she’d watched me unload the cumbersome boxes into the showroom was that my refund would show up on my credit card within a few days. She didn’t even bother to look into the boxes to see what the defect was, nor did she ask if I wanted to try another product instead. And she didn’t even offer a generic apology about the damaged flooring or say anything to acknowledge my inconvenience. She obviously didn’t care at all. It’s too bad this is how she represents their business…I’d originally planned on getting carpet from them after I’d installed my planks. But given the way she dealt with a simple refund and treating me as if my business didn’t matter or that I’d been very inconvenienced, there’s no way I’d go there again. I wanted to support a local business, but I’ll be going elsewhere for flooring.

I'm giving them one star because they did not install the carpet that I ordered. The installation was perfect but the carpet is still not what I ordered. I was told by Nancy who brought the sample board over that this is what I chose. She wasn't there when I ordered the carpet which was a dark Grey mixed with dark brown, light brown and beige. The carpet they installed is a lighter shade of Grey with no other colors mixed in. I went to the store with Nancy and I couldn't find the carpet board that I chose from. She told me she has been doing this business for 38 years and people tend to forget what they ordered. OMG! How many people forget what color carpet they ordered? I know which carpet I ordered because I bought a comforter and was going to order new curtains after the carpet was installed. I am really frustrated and I get upset everytime I walk on that carpet. I did find the carpet I ordered on their website and will be filing a 60-day guarantee to have them fix their mistake.

Total joke from beginning to end. We went through them to get new flooring in my mom's house. We ordered and had a set date for them to come and install, my mom took work off that day in anticipation and they never showed. The owner had "forgot" to call her to tell her there had been a delay in receiving the materials to begin. Okay so we wait 2 weeks for them to reschedule and when they finally show up that day (2 hours later than they had told us) the install guys didn't know they were supposed to level and seal the floor and weren't prepared so they had to go back and get more stuff. They work on it for 3 days and run out of flooring materials so we waited another 2 weeks for the new shipment to come in. So here we are and the floors are finished. They look nice, but here's the thing. My mom's house was tore apart for weeks. She was financing this project through the company they use and had to begin making payments before they ever even showed up to begin the project. Now that it's done my husband and I are helping her put the house back together and have found spots where they cut corners, got sloppy, and even put a small hole into the wall, which they're not fixing. We'll never use this company again.

We recently had a VCT floor installed in my practice. I wanted to shop local but had a less than wonderful experience the last time I had new flooring installed. Although there has been a few problems, under Adam's direction, the crew of Carpet Man have worked diligently to remedy them. I especially want to thank their Office Manager, Nancy, for being very professional and helpful. They have done their best to work around our schedule and stay on theirs. Wes and the rest of the installers worked efficiently and with a good attitude. The lino guy was first rate, also. We will not hesitate to use this business again and recommend it to others!

We had a major flood and needed most of the floors in our home replaced. They were fast, friendly, clean, and efficient. The flooring turned out beautifully. The installers did an amazing job.

I am about to visit the store again, as I need a new area rug for my living room. The Carpet Man, "Adam" was the one that Ted and I went to see after we lost our home to a fire in 1987. He was very professional, and his team did a great job installing wall to wall carpeting in the entire house. Great job. They even came back out at a later date to restretch the carpet as it had a few ripples after a bit of wear....and that was at no charge. I have nothing but great appreciation for a job well done. I trust them....and will use them again.
Thank you Adam....great job....you deserve 5 stars for sure.....thank you ....Rose Mary

I LOVE CARPET MAN Floors ,
I live next to the buissness and every single day I see them giving away free carpet and padding ,to help the less fortunate and cold !! Once the owner explained to me his reasoning behind the giving away carpet for free , he said I Give because I can , how else do you think I could of survived And still be here ! (and that statement is just so PROFOUND to me personally .. and the prices are SO AFFORDABLE ,,,
