I've used ACME PCB Assembly for four PCBs, all of which had 18 layers and over 1,400 components ranging from 676-pin BGAs to bypass capacitors in 0201 (impossible to find if you drop them) packages.Troubleshooting theses boards to correct assembly problems would have been a complete nightmare. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary. They did an excellent job on all four boards. I highly recommend them, especially to anyone using components in state-of-the-art packages.

To say that ACME PCB (or officially Yun Industrial Co.) is very good is an understatement. ACME PCB is excellent on all areas. They are one of best if not the best in terms of delivering good and high quality boards. The have a very meticulous inspection process that can catch potential issues before they happen. As an example, I once received a shortage report citing that I lacked a certain resistor (let's say 10Kohms). I checked my order history and saw that I correctly placed the order. I checked the packing list from Digikey and confirmed that it was there too. I told them they were wrong but they came back and told me that although the packed component bag was there and labelled correctly, the actual value of the part inside the bag was 100ohms and not the 10Kohms part that I ordered. It is was Digikey's mistake. If they had not caught this issue beforehand, I would lose probably a week trying to figure out the issue. Who is diligent enough to check the actual values/labels on small SMD devices from as many as a few hundred different components on a BOM? Apparently ACME PCB is. This company is also very flexible. They can assemble your boards as quick as a 1-day turnaround.

We had several hundred devices that we suspected were in need of rework due to a damaged PCB assembly from another CM. we don't want go back to doing the rework. I found ACME PCB Assembly can also doing the rework job.

The complete project would be intense, requiring us to test each device to determine which needed modification. We only had serveral weeks to remove the suspect PCBs, rework the PCBs, reconfigure and re-test the devices and finally re-package and prepare to meet pre-scheduled ship date.

We discussed our situation with Stephen Yun of ACME PCB Assembly. He assured us that he could make the necessary I.C. replacement rework and return our Boards quickly to meet our critical schedule.

We were amazed how fast ACME PCB was able to rework / return our PCBs. They even delivered the processed boards to our local test facility to save us some valuable time. We were able to complete this immense project within our limited time constraints due to the fast turn-around by ACME PCB Assembly.
