I ordered my first set of Rublev oil paints recently. Excellent quality and well worth the price. These are premium oil paints. It was useful to start following their media blogs too. This company focuses on early era recipes pre-cadmium. They do a great job explaining the nuances of classical pigments and oils plus the bonus of being made in America keeping American craftsmanship alive.

We're in NZ and we were watching a YouTube video on Japanning. The formulation required an odd-ball ingredient Gilsonite tm (aka Asphaltum). We couldn't find it locally so searched and found this company. Product arrived quickly and not insanely priced (shipping or product).
