As a middle school teacher I recycle an awful lot of clay. Whave a Peter Pugger pug mill and I ran into some problems with the other day. The vacuum was working but the pug part of the machine wasn't holding a vacuum. Frantically I called the help center and talked to Rebecca (Rachel?)... Regardless, she deserves a raise. We went through the machine and she gave some quick diagnostics and we learned that it was in the front of the machine not the back. With a little work on my end and a little help from my custodians we solve a problem with a leak in an o-ring. This is the first time I called and I got through immediately, twice actually. The second time to thank her for her help. Problems solved. The little mill is pugging away brilliantly. If my pottery studio, Korb Pottery, ever has an opportunity to buy a pug mill, I know full well that this would be the company I would go to. Thank you to Rebecca. Thank you Peter Pugger!

I purchased a used machine from an equipment supply company. Before I did so, I called tech support and discussed my material and what I wanted to achieve. The gentleman was extremely helpful, told me more than I thought I would ever need to know, gave me instructions and said to call back if I need any more help. To me that speaks volumes about the service. Just called about a manual and customer service had it all done in minutes. Now the machine itself is next level, quality, overbuilt, and made in USA. So far this has been one of the best interactions I've had while doing business for over 15 years.

I just purchased my first VPS-20 from Peter Pugger on Saturday from the Aardvark Clay and Supplies Open House. 09/28/2019

I am already seeing the days of wedging and reclaiming time being won back just from the first day of use. I have pugged 2 different clays over 800 lbs within 3 hours due to cleaning between clays.

I had already done a bunch of research on this product prior to going to the sale. I watched videos on line of all the major brands. I looked at cleaning, usage and reviewed the general happiness of the end users. I also listened to the machines. Since I live in a residential area, noise is a huge factor for me since I will work late into the night.

I was originally going to get a VPS-9SS. After talking to Jarod he said that I would not need the stainless model because of my primary use of stoneware. This saved me a thousand dollars except that I bumped up the model to VPS-20 which was being demoed at the show. Also I purchased the pug mill from the president of Peter Pugger which was surprising. It'a always great to see an executive get involved with the sales. He also offered technical assistance to get me up and running asap.

Lastly this product was designed and made in America. That is very important to me. I will spend more on products that are made here to support our local economy.

I bought my Peter pucker v PM 30 in 1999 works great have enjoyed using it for years but the parts department is lacking in availability so if you're thinking about buying one of these think again cuz you won't be able to get parts after a while customer service is really poor with no catalog online to order parts and customer service sending you wrong parts

Very good pugmills but disappointing customer service once you've done the purchase of spare parts.
To ignore customers emails once they have the order in is very poor customer care and I would suggest any UK customer thinks twice about whether it is worth the risk dealing with this US company direct should something go wrong with the purchase. Says everything about the company's culture when such emails are ignored and you have to ring to get answers. Beware UK customers
