Lorrae and Lewis are very kind and welcoming people. The store is stocked with beautiful wool yarn and all variety of fiber art tools and products. They also sell tasty caramels and meat. Lorrae kindly gave me an intro lesson on knitting, which I'd never done before. I left with a knit hat started and all the tools I needed to finish the project. We stayed on their property for a night in our RV through the Harvest Host program. Sitting on their porch chatting felt like time stood still without the distractions of modern technology and in its place fellowship and idyllic farm beauty unfolded. I got an opportunity to feed one of their bottle baby lambs which was adorable.

All of the yarn here is made on-site! During our visit the owner was kind enough to give us a tour of the mill which was truly like experiencing an episode of "How It's Made" live and in person. A very cool, off the beaten path little establishment. Highly recommend a visit if you're a yarn enthusiast!

What a treat. We stopped in on a whim while driving past and were glad we did. We got a tour of the facility, sampled some delicious carmels and bought some wool products. The owners are lovely and host events regularly. You can also say hi to the sheep!

I visited this business yesterday after the snowstorm. I had an awesome visit with Lorrae & Doyle. Great business: art & other interesting items to purchase including the honey I use to prevent allergies. Hope to return to see the lambs & alpacas & other farm animals on a better weather day. Highly recommend a visit there!

I love this place. Friendly and welcoming, the store is filled with beautiful yarn and lots of ideas to inspire creativity. Their yarn is gorgeous and in an array of colors. And it is reasonably priced. I have attended a couple of their workshops and will attend as many as I can in the future.

Amazing place. Lewis and Lorrae are gracious, warm, welcoming and incredibly talented. Even if you HATE fiber arts and crafts, you will love Yampa Valley Fiberworks. Worth the stop seeing a natural, chemical free mill in action. Truly awesome. Props to them.
