I was just in town for a visit, but had a great experience shopping here for accessories. I snapped my derailleur and its hanger on my favorite daily bike. Due to this and the bike being older I chose to rebuild just about everything and hoped to do it all with my friend. I bought many parts from WRC and they were always so friendly and helpful even when needing parts they didn’t have they told me exactly what was needed. My friend and I got it 95% there but something wasn’t working out so I took it into the shop. The tall bald/shaved head mechanic was so quick and friendly and went above and beyond. I got the most critical parts and work done at this shop and I am back on the road without spending an arm and a leg. What a terrific shop I could not be happier.

I was recently in the market for a new bike for my daughter, who had outgrown her current bike. She also happens to race for her local high school XC MTB team, and we were still mid-season. I was initially drawn to Wheat Ridge Cyclery for how they had priced the Yeti ASR; however, it was their exceptional customer service that really blew me away.

After purchasing the bike, I sent an email to inquire if we might have the bike in time for her upcoming race. I want to stress that I never asked for anything; I only inquired so expectations could be managed with my daughter. That simple email kicked off a string of events, from the shop being in communication nearly daily, picking up the frame and parts directly from Yeti, moving it to the front of the build queue, and even hand-delivering it to the carrier to make it out by the weekend.

The service I received from Steve and Dustin was second to none. And to say they’ve earned my return business is an understatement! My daughter ended up with an 8th place (her best yet) on her new ride and is over the moon with it. Also, please give my regards to Dustin’s dog, who sacrificed his usual seat while the bike was being transported to the carrier.

Alex at Wheat Ridge Cyclery spent quite a bit of time helping me select the perfect bike and accessories for the kind of biking I plan to do in the future. There was a great selection of bikes and all other items I needed. Alex also helped with best practices loading and unloading to/from my car, correct use of bike features, etc. which will help my bike to have a longer life. Wheat Ridge Cyclery will be my go to store for all future bike needs.

When I came to pick up my bike from service I discovered that 1 maintenance item was not actually complete so I had to leave the bike again and come back to pick it up later. I didn't have to make a stink or ask about it and they just refunded that portion of the service. Mistakes happen, and the fact they took responsibility for it was really nice.

Both Jim and Matt are fantastic at Wheat Ridge. Jim helped me purchase a new Specialized gravel bike which I am really enjoying (sold me on etap!), and Matt D was so patient and detailed with getting the right pedal/cleat setup for the bike. The shop also just has a ton of high quality gear and bikes.
