I have spent at least 100,000 grand here for our company this year. Had one employee who was an older guy ask me if I need help loading, to which I said it would be nice. Then he proceeded to come back later to rush me because someone else need something. Just go to home depot. I usually go to home depot for wood and will now take my business purchases to the big name stores.

I've rented equipment from Westside more times than I can recall. The staff is always pleasant and professional, they help me hook up, load, and even deliver equipment to my jobs on occasion. They take the time to make sure that I'm familiar in the operation of any machinery, and everything has performed as expected, with one exception I recall - and in that instance, they exceeded my expectations in setting things right. They're no longer my neighborhood hardware store, but I'll still go out of my way to rent there.

I ordered complete set of kitchen cabinets for my recent home repair. I went over all of the necessary details with their planner and I expressed clearly that I did not want any partical board or pressed board products to be used in my cabinetry. When my order was delivered I found that all of the cabinets are partical board. I contacted westside's planner and she said that there was nothing she could do . When I confided in westside's owner he basically called me a liar and tried to blame the mistake on my contractor. This was a large one time purchase for me that cost thousands and now I'm stuck with sub-standard cabinets that I don't want. Westside's customer service is some of the worst that I have seen anywhere. In my line of work I probably know 400 people or more by name , in this community and I will never have a good word to say about Westside Building Supplies.

I must say I was very impressed with the crew being prompt and professional. As soon as I walked in rental department I was set up with tool I needed and time i could pick it up. Upon pick up time i received full payment information and full instruction on how to use my item of choice.
