Main thing is you wait hours and hours to get loaded.

Then as a heavy smoker and truck driver I can't sit in my own truck and smoke at this place... aswell I got a dog in the truck I need to be with while getting loaded.

I call it sick rules and regulations of a company, no wonder hardly anyone wants to work for these companies.

Extremely rude and sarcastic security checkpoint personal. Load time was not too bad, but the breakroom leaves a lot to be desired. We are drivers, not animals at a kenn

A great place to shutdown and sleep before or after pickup is at the Walmart just nine miles down the road in town. Ignore the threatening signs. I was there all day on the end with 3 other trucks. Just gave away my best secret, damn! ? If you're coming south down the 80, you're turning right into Westrock. The entrance is the second one. [My stoopid company GPS of course had routed me to the 3rd one, where they let people stay overnight after picking up. But the guy in the pickup was nice and let me turn around and gave me directions.] The signs were a little hard to see from the highway in the night. I had to get out. The first says log/chip trucks. The second says Shipping & Receiving but you have to walk over to see that in the dark. It also confusingly says for Paper pickup go to gate #1, but this is it. Travel down the long winding lane, don't take the fork, stay left and go past the buildings on your right. Soon enough, just before the plant itself you'll see the stop sign at the gate building on your right. Check in. The lady was nice. Go immediately left, park at the staging area 100 yards along on the left, fill out the form she gave you, walk across the railway tracks in front of the docks and go in the shipping office and hand in the paperwork. They give you a dock. It's easy. Slide, open, and double-chock. It was a Saturday night around 7p, so there was only one truck at staging, and one that came right after me. I was round there and had room to swing and back on my own on the 3rd of four empty docks, because although he was rushing to get ahead of me(! ?) I waited to slide and open till I was over there positioned in front of my dock. Heh, heh. Tortoise, baby! Now although I just pick out the bigger visible stuff out of my trailer by hand before going in to a client, heh, heh, they were picky. Why, for just 5 big ole rolls of paper I dunno'. So they called me up to go sweep out, but they had a bunch of big ole brooms, and it was easy and quick and the guy was nice. Five minutes he said! Yes, I had to sit in that grimey rest room to wait, but they were done loading that quick! Unchock, slide, pull forward, seal, and finish the load paperwork for myself at staging, as they come bug you if you sit out in the exit lane beyond the gate. Out the gate the same lane you came in, and all you have to do is hand back the badge she gave you and ... vroom! Pretty good experience for me, although can imagine it would be harder for others at busy times with that tight dock area and a lot of trucks waiting. Is why I like to do everything deep, dark, and wild in the dead hours! Heh, heh. Worst thing actually was having to protect my written load and the paperwork with a plastic bag getting in and out of my truck over there in those damn sudden AL torrential downpours. 'Cause with all that legwork while my door was open, I lost my driver's side window controls for the next 6 hours. But, nice people though!
