I had an incredible experience at Westbound and Down in Idaho Springs! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Used to be Buffalo Bar & Restaurant, now Westbound & Down - great bar area with old western style one and a new modern one, so take your pick. Decent selections on the menu, and the food is outstanding! The prices are high, but cool mountain bar for a drink or meal on the way to-from the mountains. Great service by all the employees!

Your restaurant was a great experience…I will never shop or dine in Idaho Springs again after receiving a $50 parking ticket - the no parking sign was obstructed by a wreath from the holidays that ended 24 days ago. Talk about scamming people. A third party ticketing company walks up and down to create fines. I spent a nice invoice in this town and then was hammered for supporting local business.

This had recently changed its name or bought out the Buffalo Bar & Restaurant next door, but we decided to give it a try anyhow. It was upscale and posh and had a simple menu. My burger was a standard cheeseburger with fries, but it was juicy and very tasty. The fries were crisp and meaty. I enjoyed my meal quite well. The service was very attentive and pleasant.

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Idaho Springs. I always stop by here after skiing at Loveland and Keystone or hiking around the area. The atmosphere is great and the setup of the restaurant/bar is ideal for a quick stop in and eat or just have a drink.

Modern and spacious brewery with plenty of bar seating. The reasonably priced draft beer comes in half-liter glasses, and the chicken wings were absolutely delicious.

Up front - this place has great beer. Never had a problem finding something I like.

The food has slipped a bit over the years - at least the fried chicken sandwich has. It used to be a phenomenal fried chicken sandwich, now it's just OK. However, the cauliflower wings we had last night were very good. Haven't had the burger and fries in a while but those used to be great - especially the fries. Last time I had the green chili cheese fries and those were excellent.
