I can’t really say enough about this body of believers. This is not a place to go if you want to be preached at every Sunday. It’s a place to go if you want to worship and serve along side other broken believers that have a heart for Christ and a love for their neighbor.

Weatherly Assembly is one of the best churches I have had the honor to attend. The church is a true reflection of Christ, grace, mercy, and love as described in the Bible.

Pastor (Nick Martinez), the pastoral staff, along with the various department/ministry leaders are Godly, gifted & dynamic leaders with a true heart for all. They provide full gospel/biblical direction through clearly understood teachings which are relevant to all people. They care for each person that walks through the doors and equally care for those who have not.

There are even some ministries and connecting points (small groups) within the church which are more focused and/or geared towards specific ages (infants, toddlers, children, youth, singles, married, families, widows, single mothers, elderly, men, woman, boys, girls etc…)

The church pastor, leaders and members all pull together to help those in need, provide continual prayer, encouragement, support, discipleship, leadership, character building, personal growth, spiritual growth, Godly wisdom, discernment and insight. There is a deep passion for our community, city, state, country, and missions within the leaders & church members. No matter your background, situation, pain, past hurts, struggles, failures or situation they care and love you as Jesus Christ does. This church comes along side you, is there for you, prays, encourages, and stands with you, equally in both the toughest of times/situations as well as in the good/happy times/situations.

This truly is “a place to belong”.

Weatherly is extremely enjoyable and friendly. If you're looking for a place to find people to do life with, this is the place. Teachings are straight from the bible!!! Very welcoming!!!! Pastor Nick is amazing and everyone is like family. This church is all about serving and showing the love of Jesus!!!! If your looking for a church home come see for yourself.

Long time church member and permanent addition to this wonderful family of God worshiping people. If your looking for a church, make it a priority to visit the Sunday morning service. Worship service is "hand raising" and the Word is discussed with lite humor but digs deep at how the Bible pertains to our family, city and world on a daily basis.

Weatherly Assembly of God is a TRUE Pentecostal church! The entire congregation is friendly and welcoming and they make you feel right at home. We moved to Alabama 2 years ago, and finding a new home church is hard. But as soon as we walked through the door we knew Weatherly was HOME!
