Probably one of the more disappointing experiences I've had in the hobby. I ordered a set of gaskets and accidentally left on the 2-day shipping (their site defaults to this shipping method). I emailed the owner immediately and he responded several hours later saying it had already gone out. Meanwhile, the USPS says that the package was lost at their facility. Vintage Gasket was good about refunding the shipping (which USPS would've done for them knowing that the 2-day shipping guaranteed or you're given a refund). I received the supposedly new gaskets today, only to find them with numerous imperfections - creases, scratches, gouges... these gaskets are essentially useless. I tried contacting the company again, only to find the owner has blocked my email address.
I'm mystified by this whole experience. Surely someone looked at these gaskets before they went out, and they decided "that's fine," because what, I asked for help with shipping and was frustrated when the terms of the shipping (with the expense, which was more than the gaskets themselves) weren't fulfilled?! Absolutely absurd. Clearly the company has some integrity with refunding my shipping when they were refunded by the USPS, but then sending a wholly defective and useless product?! Guys, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Literally anywhere else. Don't waste your time or money.
