I had my naturalizations interview today. The security staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful even my oath ceremony was amazing and one to remember.
The officer I had for my interview was one of the most rude and arrogant people I have ever met, with the worst attitude. It seemed to me he hated his job. While he was interviewing me he kept checking his phone which I found very unprofessional. Maybe it’s time to reconsider other more professional people for this job position. Just because you work for the government doesn’t make you any better than the people you’re interviewing.

We have dropped off a file document at the USIC field office in Hartford. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We arrived right before closing, and were met with kind gesture and patience. The security guards at the entrance were also very helpful and friendly.

I had my interview today and everyone was professional and polite. I know that this type of interviewes can be intimidating but from my experience, every time I went to a USCIS center even in other locations, the officers were good professionals and good human beings. The same as the gentleman that interviewed me today and the one that distributed the certificates (I wish knew the names). Because of these kind of people, the empathy and the openmindness they show, I love America even more!

I passed the reading and writing history questions. If you ask me a political question, I can’t just say that I understand English and I can’t talk about it. I still have another chance. I feel that this person is discriminating against me. I don’t know what I will ask next time.

My entire experience was amazing from the moment I entered through the doors! The security personnel was polite and friendly. My uscis officer was wonderful, he was so professional and kind. He did his job, while making me feel comfortable and ease. A big thank you to all of them.

The official on site is very nice. But the phone number we are calling, it's a bot, never get it to the representative, then it will end the call, really frustrated. The Aoth letter been delivered to us too late, not able to make it, so we need to contact them.

After 2 hours trying, i called the Immigration Court, that lady shared that if you say 'make an appointment', it will lead you to the real person in uscis, have your receipt number ready. Good luck~

We were beside ourselves with the anxiety of an interview. However, the USCIS team from Security check all the way to the interviewer were very professional very polite.

Our interviewer god bless her was pleasure to talk to. 1.5 hour flew by so quick it felt more like a pleasant conversation than an interview. [the officer asked the information necessary to assess the case, provided feed back of her understanding of our answer and was more than happy rectify if we didn’t communicate our answer well]

Do not be discouraged if they do not tell you that your application is approved straight away they need read the file coupled with information u just gave them which takes time [they do tell you that they didn’t find anything wrong with application and nothing further is needed and hand you form for that]

Interview ended with pleasant salutation, we got approval mail in 10 business days (may vary based on work load).

For those anxious personalities like me please do not go by online case status, they usually don’t update. so keep on checking your US postal mail’s and praying, and do not google too much will add to ur anxiety

One of the employees responsible for screening me and my belongings upon entry was exceptionally rude and had a cocky attitude representative of his young age. His attitude probably derived from the fact he was a government employee with greater authority than the non-citizens entering. This situation is similar to a foul police officer abusing his power.
